The food here was very good. I got the tacos with the turkey in it. Very good meat, but yall. When I tell I was fighting for my life because it was soooo spicy. My friends also tried it and said it wasn't spicy at all tho so you might be fine.

My go to restaurant at the City Foundry. I lean towards the tacos, specifically the shrimp taco. We also like the pork belly and pulled pork tacos. The flavors in these tacos meld so well together. The price is kinda hefty... however the quality is high and ingredients are fresh - so def worth it for me. The sides are decently portioned. We like the Sikil pak. Guac is fresh too, however I feel it is on the blander side, so I have not ordered it as much.

Some of the best tacos STL has to offer and also one of the only dedicated gluten free restaurants in the city. I have celiac disease so even trace amounts of gluten can cause major problems, and I am happy to say that I eat here regularly and have never had even the slightest issue. 10/10. The grouper tacos are out of this world!!!

The portions were generous and the ingredients were quality. However, the pork tacos were drowning in oil. Ironically, the meat itself was a little dry and the salsa did not add much to it. The tacos could have definitely benefited from some additional ingredients to make them more interesting.

I was excited to try this restaurant as I’m in search of great tacos is the STL area. It’s located in the food hall at the foundry and not a stand alone restaurant.First impressions were ??The guy at the counter looked like I was interrupting something more important to him. I asked if I could get the sauces on the side and he flatly explained that there are no modifications. I told him I didn’t want to chance there being something in the sauce that I couldn’t have. He blinked at me and stared so chance it I did.We tried the pork tacos which weren’t bad but could have been done better. The come 2 to and order. The pork belly skin was not properly rendered and ate so sticky it stuck to my teeth. The tacos were generously filled but made it almost impossible to eat all components together. The sauces were bright and acidic which helped cut the fat off the protein.Overall not bad but not sure I’ll try it again.

Lackluster food, unpleasant service, and poor value.$15 for two small pieces of quesabirria and "consomme", typically one of my fave dishes, but prepared differently in a way that also made it taste so disappointing compared to all other quesabirria I've tried across the country.Service was randomly stubborn, refused to exclude cilantro from my quesabirria even though they are just sprinkled on top instead of part of some pre-made mixed-in.Instagram: TianTianEats

The tamale is out of this world as is the guacamole. Really, the tamale is the absolute best I have ever had in my life. However the tortilla chips are so thick and do not taste good at all. The Chicken, beef, pork tacos were delicious. The fish tacos -not so much. They tasted like tuna and were a bit stinky. I'll keep going back for the tamales.

Outstanding, authentic Mexican food. Do not come here hoping to find burritos, hard “shell” tacos or anything like that. No sir, not here. Chips and salsa may be the closest thing to most “Mexican” restaurants around here. I had the Castacán tacos and they were absolutely delicious. Definitely on my top 3 of St Louis tacos. I wanted to try other stands but came back for the panuchos, they were a bit different to other panuchos I’ve had but still, veeery good. I couldn’t finish them though, will for sure be back to try more menu items. It’s not cheap at all though, over $30 for 2 tacos and 2 panuchos, but well worth the price.

I have never had salsa that had an oily after taste with very little tomato flavor. It's easy to hide bad food with lots of jalapenos. That was all I tasted in my beans and rice as well as bean dip. Elote was ok. Hard to tell difference between any of my food by looking at it as pictured below.

I had the tamal colado. It was filled with cochinita public (Mexican version of pulled pork). The quality of the masa and the salsa blew me away! I'm very excited to try more from them. Other than homemade tamales, this is probably the best tamal I've had in STL.

These are street style tacos.. refined. The presentation is just as good as the quality, the taste, and the service. There is nothing to complain about here. I was initially put off of trying this place because they have several signs stating that modifications to food are not allowed. I initially thought this reflected an anti-customer attitude but after taking the plunge, I realize it’s truly just because the chef knows best in this case.Make sure you get the hot sauce, if offered. It’s a delicious peppery spicy sauce. Highly recommend this place! Also - we have a hard time feeling confident about gluten free options but when we asked, the gentleman let us know the entire menu is gluten free.Vegetarian options: There were several vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: The gentleman told us the entire menu is gluten free!

It's food court style, seating is in the center of several restaurants. The food here - and I have been four times - is excellent. I have celiac disease; due to the Yucatan's traditional cuisine served here, they have no wheat or barley to concern oneself with cross-contamination. I'm heading back a fifth time next week.Dietary restrictions: Celiac / no gluten

I just ate the Mero a la Plancha Tacos, and they were SO, SO GOOD! Grilled, perfectly seasoned grouper, fresh avocado & cilantro, and garlic sauce. Took it home and ate the tacos with a bottle of Peroni, and am sure there is no better meal to be had. Really amazing! Love Sureste - really a cut above everyone else. A lot of thought and care went into the food. Also, the people working there were super pleasant and friendly.
