The food is incredible, and the staff is even better!

This morning, I had an issue with Uber Eats—someone took my order before the assigned driver even arrived at the store. The driver was unsure how to proceed, but the team at Sweetwaters went above and beyond to help.

They apologized (even though it wasn’t their fault) and patiently walked the driver through the Uber Eats resolution process. Unfortunately, the driver became overwhelmed and canceled the order so another driver could handle it.

When I called the store, the staff were incredibly kind and immediately offered to remake my order—without me even asking.

10/10 Customer Service! Huge shoutout to Sweetwaters for their kindness and professionalism!

No mugs or plates available. Unable to eat there in an Earth friendly way.

Kind of felt like I was cheating today (11/28/2024) on Thanksgiving; but…my usual coffee shop (and many other businesses) are closed for the holiday. As a retired truck driver & now a cyclist in my old age, there’s one thing I’m always on the lookout for – CAFFEINE! If you’ve ever watched that funny video, (How to be a Road Biker) there’s a good facsimile of me at the end.

Immediate likes and dislikes. Like: there are bike racks in front to lock up your steed. Dislike: no outside seating. You see, barring inclement weather, I ride Spring, Summer, Fall and even Winter. If the sun is out, 32°F is highly doable if dressed right. If I was to enjoy my drink inside, I’d start perspiring almost immediately. It’s just the opposite in the summer. After a 20 mile ride (or more) in the Summer, who wants to sit next to a sweaty-ass cyclist? That’s why I take it outside.

The manager was nice enough to drag a chair outside for me and even offered a table. Nah…that’s too much trouble. The drink itself (a Hot Turtle/Mocha) was on par with Starbucks – not great, but not bad either. The best part was…a full $2.00 LOWER in price than Starbucks. I’ll still prefer my usual hangout. But…seeing that Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea is only a mile from my apartment, I’ll most likely be back.

Dietary restrictions: They have other options for milk which is wonderful due to my
lactose intolerance.

Stopped in for a to-go drink after lunch down the block. Neither employee greeted us or asked if we needed help (nobody else in line, they were just hanging out behind the counter). Why are there barely any hot drinks on the menu in November…? It’s 2/3 slushies, frappes, and iced teas. My partner wanted a basic cappuccino but none on the menu.
Barista guy seemed annoyed when I was ready to order. Iced chai latte was the worst I’ve ever had, it was very diluted and the cold foam topping was almost sour. After scooping out the foam it just tasted like cinnamon water. Not planning to go back.

Sweetwaters Coffee catered pastries and bagels for our class. All the parties were hard as a rock, no one ate any of them. The assorted bagels included a lot of everything bagels, which were also not eaten. I understand some people might eat them for breakfast, but most of us didn't want garlic for breakfast.

My friend and I met at SWC yesterday . We both ordered different things , I a mocha iced tea, her a coffee w/ cream. Within an hour we both got sick and it carried on till the next day. Not sure if the cream was bad or what

Poor customer service!
I've been here a few times and enjoyed it so I won't bash completely but today I was really disappointed at the service.
I was not greeted when I came in by the two staff, I waited at the line behind a woman at the register who already had her hot drink and was talking with both staff.
One staff member was making a hot drink, the other served the food delivery service, then accepted a new ticket that printed and started making that before they thought to even greet me. I left since it had been 4 minutes since I was standing there.
Being greeted is so simple and other major chains get it right every time.
The chairs are also very uncomfortable. One can't work there for long comfortably and it wouldn't be my choice to go socialize there either because of the chairs and tables.

Great place to study or simply chat w/ friend. Drinks and food were slightly expensive, but if you're spending enought time there it checks out. Employees were nice and there were good outlets and atmosphere. Trying to find free safe parking isn't great, but some people park directly across from the store.

Great location at the entrance to the Grove. I pop in for tea or lemonade. The coffee is also amazing with a fresh pastry.
