Edit- our second visit was even better than the first. If you love sushi, make a reservation here ASAP! The Tempura Fried Twinkie is absolute gas.Our first meal at the reinvented Benevolent King proved to be an absolute delight. We had outstanding service and delicious sushi. If you don’t know, they switched to Japanese cuisine and it was absolutely the right decision. Amazing experience. The drinks, food, and desert were all 5/5. The curry rice was incredible, the maki was great, and the Tokyo nachos appetizer was the perfect start to it. Had a great Negroni here as well, and the cheesecake/pocki (sp?) desert was perfect. All around just a really great eating experience.
If I could give 10 stars I would! This was one of the best experiences in any restaurant I've ever been to! The food was exquisite and the service was amazing!
