I was so happy to have the opportunity to work with Sydney and her wonderful team at Live by Loews for a client's wedding. The venue is fun and lovely and perfect for St. Louis couples who want to showcase the best of St. Louis. Beyond the amenities and location of the venue, the staff is professional, courteous, and dedicated to service, whether it is the clients, guests, or vendors. The hotel itself was great. Comfortable and convenient. The service however was absolutely terrible from check in until well after check out. Check in was scheduled for 4:00. We arrived right at 4:00, but our room was not ready. Their immediate solution was to downgrade my room. I refused the downgrade due to the fact that the ballpark view was the entire reason I booked the hotel. I was told our room should be ready shortly and I would recieve a text when it was ready. My hubby and I stayed one night over the weekend after attending Taste of STL for our 10th wedding anniversary. The staff was very nice, loved all the baseball decor, and the room was clean & beautiful.
After a long day in the heat, we checked in and we enjoyed a drink at the hotel bar. We casually mentioned to the bartender it was our anniversary as we were leaving to go back out. We came back to our room and they had sent up a very sweet card and a bottle of champagne!!...read full review
