They try but you can't fool people who lived in Vegas or New York before. Casino should have world class food. Not a back alley diner taste!!!!

The Kitchen Buffet has been degraded in recent years, trimmed back to a small dining area with a very limited low end food selection. It barely qualifies as a casino buffet. Of six casinos in the St. Louis area, the food offerings at Lumiere are the least desirable.

Definitely not what it use to be. A few years ago, the kitchen was popping. For what you pay, I will keep going to Kentucky fried chicken.

I visited the Kitchen after attending a XFL St Louis BattleHawks game in the area. The wait to be seated was very acceptable. The server came by and got my drink very quickly. They have a ventral kitchen with buffet serving area on both sides. I am not a fan of the layout. I found items that I liked, however at 7 pm on a Saturday, many of the items were empty. Everyone knows that a buffet will have a variety of sauces that are hard to tell apart. Good signing and product locations are key to a good buffet experience. This location lacked both. The Fried Cod and Baked fish was on one side of the restaurant, yet the unmarked Tartare sauce was on the opposite side with the cold shrimp. They offered Prime Rib and steak. The unmarked Horseradish sauce was in a different location and was also hard to locate. The table server was outstanding and I made a point of letting the manger know it Overall, as a Casino Buffet this would be a 3 out of 10. Kitchen leadership was obviously lacking.

The food and service were both very good, BUT....the entire casino reeks of stale cigarette smoke like when you are by a chainsmokers with an old coat on that has years of smoking permeated in it without it ever having been washed. Yuk!

I was very disappointed with the buffet. The food was lukewarm and not a diverse selection for lunch. The servers were amazing though.

The food was old and cold and we were there half hour after opening. Had been there 1x before and was pleased with the selection. Definitely will not go back for that price
