I visited the Kitchen after attending a XFL St Louis BattleHawks game in the area. The wait to be seated was very acceptable. The server came by and got my drink very quickly. They have a ventral kitchen with buffet serving area on both sides. I am not a fan of the layout. I found items that I liked, however at 7 pm on a Saturday, many of the items were empty. Everyone knows that a buffet will have a variety of sauces that are hard to tell apart. Good signing and product locations...read full review
The food and service were both very good, BUT....the entire casino reeks of stale cigarette smoke like when you are by a chainsmokers with an old coat on that has years of smoking permeated in it without it ever having been washed. Yuk!
The Kitchen Buffet has been degraded in recent years, trimmed back to a small dining area with a very limited low end food selection. It barely qualifies as a casino buffet. Of six casinos in the St. Louis area, the food offerings at Lumiere are the least desirable.
