Really enjoyed El Montero at the pageant. What a great venue, the benefits of live music with a comfortable surrounding easy access to beverages and up close and personal with the band
I attended for a concert and for this type of event, the seats are MUCH too close together in all of the seating areas and there's only few spaces in the mid-rows that have a table-type area to sit anything on. Whenever my wife moved around, she was bumping somebody.
They don't sell food, but it seems some people Doordashed food in, but it's my understanding food and drink cannot be brought inside. They have a bar that also sells non-alcoholic...

First visit in at least 5 years and if anything, it has only improved. It has always been my favorite venue in STL. I love that the entire space is all ages if it's an all ages show now! Great experience bringing my 10 year old to see the Aquabats for her first concert.
