I've been here a handful of times over the last year and every time it seems to get worse. This place is NOT friendly to the LGBTQIA+ community. The last time I went in, I was met with attitude from the door guy and they were charging a $5 cover charge for men. Okay, whatever. But then he purposefully misgendered one of my friends I was with and when we showed him the ID, he told us to lose the attitude. A few more girl friends came by and they were met with the same attitude but he tried charging them $5 too. So it just seems like they're trying to scam people out of money. On top of all that, I'm always met by rude staff. I really wanted to like this place because it's a neighborhood bar and other people seem to have great things to say, but I just can't support what's going on there.

Kent and Sarah were great behind the bar. Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere with good prices. I played a few games of pool and had a good time. The pool table looked well taken care of.

Stopped in mid day on a Saturday with a group. Very friendly and relaxed place. Staff was nice and accommodating. Played some darts. No lines. Not sure why some negative reviews. It is not the Taj Mahal but that wasn't what we were looking for. We had a great time. Thx!

EDIT: THIS USED TO BE A "Fun little south city dive, open from 6am to 3am (Sundays they open later). Pool table, dart boards, patio." BLAH BLAH BLAH. It was one of my favorite bars actually. I don't know what is happening behind the scenes but there has been a lot of turnover and at this point it is apparently acceptable behavior for the bartenders to use a variety of racial slurs as well as slurs against the LGBT community. I say acceptable because I attempted to contact management and have never been contacted back. If you at a POC or member of the LGBT community, beware. I'm not saying such bigotry is the attitude of the entire bar, but it's certainly embraced by the establishment.
Great late night dive bar on the south side. They are open late till 3am. James and Klye will take great care of you! Cash only but there is an ATM on site. Pool table and dart boards. Very crowded on weekends or late night. Extremely fun diverse crowd.

Dana needs help. She has lost so many customers to other bars where they are treated with respect and dignity. I recommend not going there when she is working. 6:00AMTo 1:00PM.I've witnessed her interrogating customers and getting into shouting matches with fellow employees. I hope Herb wakes up and does what needs to be done.
