Pretty cool place to get something to drink, and if you want. My favorite part is all walks of life are in there.
Don’t pay ApplePay or Lock your card once you pay. They’ll up-charge you the next morning a different price. They got me out $22 bucks for a $11 drink. I could have just ordered two drinks last night. I don’t like scandalous behavior.
It was boring tbh we kicked it in the parking lot and went to tin roof
Very popular spot, extremely busy, just not my scene.
Tried to be there early enough to get a nice table. But even empty, the service was horrible. I have a thing where I turn my stopwatch to see how long it takes to get first service(i.e., waitress, come and ask what we would like to drink and appetizers) that took about 5 min. Mind you, the place is not packed, it's about half way full. Waited another 5 minutes for simple drinks(non-alcoholic). I had order the burger, kept it simple. Told the waitress to make the burger medium. Burger was dry and cooked well. It wasn't even plated nicely, like it was just thrown together. Didn't even bother to take a picture. Took a bite and just left. Paid the bill, tipped the minimum, and left. All the hype of this place and just another establishment that doesn't set it apart from the next. Not to mention talking to some of the locals, that at night there's always some sort of drama. Can't speak on something I've never witness but doesn't surprise me.
The French fries burned or chapped our lips, the burger was nothing to brag about and we bought 2 and should have got a discounted price.
Mardi Grau night life in STL IS NEXT TO NONE💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
I want ALL 3 of the doormen’s names, of the night of Saturday, February 1st, 2025. so I can contact who they are contracted by. Highly suggest you get new door men, as the ignorant ones you have will meet the wrong one, one of these days. And the little 5’6 guy that acts like he runs the show till his 6’4 partner speaks up rudely about the dress code, when I had guests wearing the same thing I was wearing. They’ll find the right person one of these days, then they’ll be scared to work security in STL. this is coming from someone who’s worked ARMED, high risk security for over 9 years. Guess everyone’s gotta start somewhere. In fact, fire the tree doormen, hire me solo and I will get the job done professionally, and efficiently. Instead of having little man syndrome, and then letting my taller, junkie looking friend to back me up. Already enough bad talk about your establishment

The bartender and self proclaimed manager were very unprofessional. Manager became indignant because I requested a remake of my cocktail. I would NEVER recommend this establishment to anyone. I left the drinks $47 round) on the counter and left.

The server was so rude that we felt as if we had to leave so we did.

The place was pretty okay for a Friday but had no food which killed the vibes. My drink was a little expensive and strong. DJ was good and games were cool addition but it was missing something for me.
Parking: Parking on the road was difficult but I parked in a paid parking lot which only cost $8 bucks for night!

Luke the bouncer was so unprofessional and rude. I have never experienced something like this in my entire life. He let only blonde people in looked at myself who is a brunette and my black haired friend and said absolutely not. I wish I could be making this up, but unfortunately, it is true. I am not one to leave Google reviews, but this experience really left me incensed. There are many choices for late night activities in the city of St. Louis and wheelhouse is not one that I recommend. I would only recommend wheelhouse if you want to be discriminated against for something as little as hair color. Luke should lose his job. I am outraged. Do better wheelhouse do better.
