WUDON BBQ KOREAN RESTAURANT

We came here on Saturday around 7:30pm and there was no wait so that’s good. We got seated immediately and was served water and the server took our order promptly.

My husband and I both ordered the AYCE for $29.99

The food was fast to come out and the service was attentive. Our favorites from the menu were short ribs and chiickenbulgogi. Our least favorite was the steamed egg and kimchi. Which is pretty terrible for a korean restaurant to have bland watery kimchi.

The only down sides to the atmosphere is the lack of hoods above the grills. Most korean bbq places I’ve been to have a good ventilation system to keep up with the smoke from grilling the meat. The entire restaurant is filled with smoke and there is constant smoke in your face as you eat.

Overall good experience. If you aren’t picky with korean food you can have a great meal. Good place to hang out with friends and drink soju but definitely not a date.

Absolutely the BEST Chicken Teriyaki I have had in long time! The smell when you pull.up is what drives you in there. Definitely worth a stop and will be back!

I had a very good experience eating at this restaurant. The meat was already seasoned and very good. I especially loved the beef! The wait time was very short, too. All the food was delicious. Overall a great restaurant.

Food was very salty and poor quality. Their side dish is looking very sad. Overall the restaurant is very dirty, chairs are covered in grease. The wall is dirty. Look like they haven’t cleaned anything for a long time. For 30 dollars per person. Soda not even refills. I mean if you go to Seoul garden or kpop hotpot. They got great quality and great atmosphere compare to this one. And soda refills. Don’t waste your time here. They are more Korean bbq around St.louis that better than this.

Spicy pork bulgogi is marinated perfectly. Kimchi, bean sprouts, onions etc were great. Very attentive service and entertaining being able to cook at your table.

If you’re looking for a great place to try authentic Korean food, I highly recommend this place. It’s overall a good experience, but I wish they had corn tea.

But the absolute best thing they serve is their beef bulgogi! You absolutely must try it! The staff are so friendly and welcoming!

Definitely an authentic Korea bbq restaurant. The food/meats are all of excellent quality. The staff are all very friendly and courteous. The restaurant itself could definitely use some updating/repairs. It’s a little high priced for where it is but still a good experience none the less.

Can’t breath! Too much smoke!

I literally do not have enough words to say how much I love this place. It is hands down my favorite restaurant, and the all you can eat is my go to.

The ingredients are always top tier, having the small menu means that I know exactly what I have available to me and it doesn't change- which I *love* as someone with some particular allergies- and the wait staff is on a first name basis with me now. Every time I go in it's a smile and a warm welcome.

They need to update the tables, and with just one server, it takes forever. I know they are trying, but that didn't even include all the sides, and it's too expensive for that treatment.

The tables were sticky, the walls had visible grease splatters - not exactly the vibe you want when you're about to eat. We got our usual large beef combo($90-typically for 4-5 people ) and I swear they gave us 2/3 the meat they used to. The grill barely had any heat - we sat there forever waiting for the meat to cook.

WUDON Korean BBQ: Where You Cook, You Eat, You Feel Loved… and Leave Smelling Like Victory

WUDON is not just a restaurant — it’s an experience. One where you get to cook your own food like a culinary gladiator, armed with tongs and dreams. It was my first time ever going, and let me tell you: I’ve never felt so welcomed while being handed raw meat.

The staff? Absolute gems. Super friendly, helpful, and somehow managed to make me feel like I wasn’t one missed flip away from setting off the smoke alarm. They explained everything, checked on us often, and didn’t even flinch when I asked how to pronounce “gochujang” like a nervous tourist. Five-star hospitality. I felt loved.

The marinated meats? Insanely good. I don’t know what kind of magical potion they soak it in, but I’d like to bottle it and wear it as cologne. I was out here flipping short ribs like it was my calling. Each bite was a reward for not burning dinner.

The place itself is gorgeous — clean, modern, with sleek tables that have built-in grills that made me feel like I was manning a starship. It’s got a vibe that says, “Yes, you’re cooking… but you’re also kind of a big deal.”

Just know: you will leave smelling like you won a Korean BBQ battle. But with a full belly, a happy heart, and a strong desire to come back.

Our grill broke but the staff were very quick to come and resolve the issue very professional 10/10 would recommend 👌 👍

Really great place, our grill may have broke but they fixed the issue really fast. They’re definitely great people here and absolutely wonderful service
