As a European, in my first months living in the US, I visited so many coffee shops where I could feel the cozy atmosphere and smooth, delicious coffee like in my homeland, and I found it here. This place has become like a second home to me, especially thanks to the friendly baristas and owner of the establishment. This is the very moment when you come to this cute house with a huge bright veranda and they greet you and call you by name. They also participate in donations, helping different organizations during certain periods with a small percentage of drink sales, which is amazing!P.S. “Wow! First off, this was my first actual experience of Bosnian cuisine. Many of our office rank Taste of Bosnia as the BEST in the area and they definitely set the bar!As a group, we ordered the Sarme (cabbage rolls), Mjesano Meso (meat platter), Buffalo Chicken, Kupus salata (cabbage salad) & Jahnija (stew).Everyone devoured their food. I had the cabbage rolls, and they are delectable! Filled with a finely minced meat, saurkraut then covered in a sauce, I was blown away by the balance of flavors. The thick & moist scoop of mashed potatoes was perfect to mix with the meal.All meals came with thick, fresh bread which was a nice treat & sour cream to spread on it.The restaurant was sparking clean with a warm, welcoming interior. I was surprised to find out the restaurant isn't brand new, as every single space is immaculate and well decorated.The service was excellent as well. The lady at the counter was super polite asking if I've been here before, then welcomed me as a guest.I cannot wait to try the whole menu. If you want authentic Bosnian cuisine, then this is an absolute must. She is so sweet, a quick communicator, and she was even at our wedding to see that things went smoothly. She helped us set up a private tasting as well as schedule us for one of their larger tastings they offer a few times per year. This allowed us to pick the perfect menu for our wedding. “Pasta House catered our wedding, and they did an amazing job!!! They made the whole day a breeze! The food was delicious and we had plenty of leftovers!!! My husband and I wanted ice cream for dessert. They placed the order with Ted Drewes, picked it up, and brought it to the venue. They even let my baker bring the cake to them the day of, and they handled it from there. The bar was awesome!! The drinks were delicious and ll the staff from serves to bartenders were so friendly! Our wedding was at the World's Fair Pavillion which has some stricted guidelines/rules which we were worried about. Pasta House took care of all of it and didn't let us worry once about it. They were a dream to work with and I would recommend them to everyone for a delicious and stress free wedding or event!!!“
“Nice little neighborhood grocery store, with a long history that also serves some great sandwiches! We tried the Roma and Mary Jane sandwiches and loved both. All sandwiches come with a pickle spear and small bag of chips. The flavors were nice and fresh, with great taste! About $9 each and a good size. We sat and ate at the counter and read about the history of the building. Next time I want to get some of the side salads to try. The service was a bit odd, as there were 4 people behind the sandwich counter and 1 at the front/store register. The 4 folks were all talking to each other and didn't notice us for a bit. The guy who took the order seemed a bit upset and didn't really talk much. He sent me up front to pay and then said to come back in 5 min for the food. After a few minutes I came back and the other folks helped find the order. They were both very friendly, and helpful. Must have just caught the first guy in a bad moment. Is it a place for date night? No. It is worth going there and grabbing lunch to eat outside on a nice day? Hard "YES"! Great food at a good value and a local place, can't ask for much more than that!“

“I *LOVE* Best Box Lunches! We used to use them quite frequently for work lunches and events, but our office remains shut down from the pandemic and we've missed them! When we were recently working at a Habitat build site and needed a lunch delivery, they were my first thought. AS ALWAYS, they were early, the orders were perfect, and the food is delicious! “We've driven past here countless times and today had the opportunity to have lunch. It's a store front in a small strip, clean and nicely decorated inside, with 3-4 umbrella tables outside. The counter staff were very kind and offered recommendations. I had the chicken spedini with salad. I didn't realize it also came with a generous bowl of spaghetti and red sauce. I'm Italian and most Italians will tell you, "We never eat sauce out (meaning tomato sauce), so I took it home for the kiddo. My husband selected the chicken parmigiana which also included pasta and we both had salad. Our entrees and the broccoli that accompanied them were delicious. The quantity of food was too much for me, but the hubby loved it as he was ravenous by the time we stopped. The salads were tasty, though the cheese we added came in fairly large sticks - not bad, just oddly proportioned. Everything tasted good, but we were a bit shocked by the prices. While the counter staff were very nice, she didn't indicate how much of an up charge there was for a small side salad. We'd expected close to $20/each and ended up with a bill of almost $60. We won't pay that much for lunch again anytime soon, though we would consider them for catering because the food was very tasty and the catering prices weren't terrible, thus the 4-stars. It would be 5-stars except for the unexpected pricing.“
