“We discovered this gem of a coffee shop during a weather induced stopover in Quincy on our way from Chicago to Oklahoma City. The proprietors, Margarita and Bill, were warm and welcoming and regaled us with tales and history about Quincy, Mark Twain and the surrounding area. The coffee was excellent as was the food and we were charmed to have found respite there when most other shops were closed due to the weather! The decor was homey and rife with green plants and local art. We will come again!”

“Although I grew up in Quincy, I had never been to Underbrink’s. Now decades later and a trip across 6 states, I finally tried Underbrink’s! Uhhh…..the best ever! Brownies are melt in your mouth fudgy deliciousness. The mini angel food cakes are also fantastic! Will definitely be back on my next trip to Quincy! I may even look into having treats shipped.”

Avoid the Tiramisu version of pizza though. The artichokes cause the crispy crust to be soggy. They should probably come up with a different recipe for a signature pizza.”
