“My husband wanted to surprise me for valentines day/Mardi Gras with a taste of home. This lovely woman has given me a lovely treat with her homemade king cake. Not only was it made fully from scratch but she also allowed me to have a taste of her family's recipe. I will definitely be ordering more king cakes from her in the future and maybe other cakes. “This place and it's owners are the absolute best!! I am gluten free and never in my life did I think I would find gluten free desserts that taste as amazing as Birdie's do. They have such a great assortment of baked goods, anyone can find something they love there! They offer regular, gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options too!! I recently had a birthday and, thanks to Birdies Bakeshop, I was able to have something I never thought I'd be able to get: a gluten free birthday cake! And it was the best chocolate cake (gluten free or otherwise) I have EVER had. So rich and decadent and gorgeous and I am just so happy to have such a wonderful bakery right here in Washington!!“
