I tried the chicken katsu, the bento box was huge with a variety of small bite to eat. The chicken was fantastic and cooked to perfection. The salad dressing was delicious. I ate almost everything but the seaweed salad. It wasn’t bad, just not something I’d normally eat. It was prepared quickly and hot and fresh. This was my first time trying. I will definitely be back, and telling my friends about this gem.
we love eating here!! the bento boxes are delicious, filling, affordable, and it's a real treat when we find chocolate desserts included. :)
Absolutely awful - Crab Rangoon fried in god knows what - oddest and unappealing taste. Everyone’s sushi mushy, with old ingredients. Supermarket sushi 10x better. Katsu meat patty not cooked through and obviously prefab/frozen. No one in my party could get their meal down beyond a few bites.
Really cheap tasted like gas station food and way overpriced for what you get, save yourself and go literally anywhere else in STL.
Katsuya STL really impressed me with their chicken katsu bento box. The chicken was crispy and juicy, and the whole meal was well put together—rice, fresh salad, pickled vegetables, and a few pieces of sushi made it a great value.
mmm chciken..
Great food! I tried the fried Philly box and it was amazing! Alot of food for $14! My friend got the Shrimp Bento and loved it
The chicken Katsu was pretty good.
Bland food, overpriced for what you get.
Very crispy and good quality!!
Awesome!!

I didn’t expect it to be this good!! Bento was large and the food quality is good, will definitely order more
This is definitely a quick service type of restaurant. The food comes out fast, hot and pretty dang good. The quality of the chicken surprised me. It was white meat and cooked perfectly. The portion of chicken was also nice. I could not finish my bento because there was so much. The sauce served with it was also good.
The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of was the kimchi, but everyone likes theirs differently so it may be better to others. I like mine a little more fermented and smidge less salty. Nothing to complain about though!
The crab rangoon had a different filling than any others I’ve tried. I’ve had some that are more garlicky or sweet but these were savory with a little twang, maybe hint of sriracha. They’re pretty good. I like that you can actually taste the crab stick too.
I think if I’m looking for a quick bite in the area I’ll definitely go back and try the pork and cheese katsu.
Staff were super kind, especially the woman at the register showing us photos and explaining the menu. They made sure we had the containers to get our leftovers packed up and were just overall incredibly friendly.
Good food for a reasonable price. The amount of food for the bento box is good for one person, and good diversity and taste.
I have an extremely picky 3 year old who refuses to try new food. We have frequented Katsuya through their delivery option and everytime we order, my son is always excited to try a different Bento. Delicious, consistent and the presentation always sparks your appetite. 100% recommend.
Phenomenal food. The wasabi aioli is incredible. The rice is amazing. Pork katsu was scrumptious. Ginger salad sauce was delightful. The mustard for katsu was spicy and flavorful. Also, get the curry. Superb.
