Not bad. Not great. Price was reasonable. Ok place to pick up a slice if you have the time. However, I think I would have liked it a bit more if it they could get the slice to me a bit quicker because I don't think it would be a place I would go out of my way to get unless I just needed a quick bite to go. But for context, I ate in the shop. Perhaps their pizza is better when ordered for pickup or maybe they had an off day. It only looked like they had maybe 2-3 workers present when I stopped by, so they could have been short staffed and possibly slammed right before I came in. If I get a chance to stop by there again, I will update my review.

As someone from the east coast, this is the closest thing to REAL NY style pizza in STL. The wait is never long and the service is great. Also with a prime location next to ITAP in the CWE, it is perfect for a night out. Pizza can be a bit on the pricey side, but worth it!

On 6/11/2019, I placed an online order (totaling $21.82) at exactly 7:30pm. I received a phone call about 10m later informing me that the order was "not worth our time" Those were the exact words verbatim. I literally live 5 minutes down on the same street, Delmar Blvd. They still charged my card (it went through 2 days later on 6/13) even though the gentleman on the phone stated it would be voided.

The pizza there is really good, the customer service is TRASH !! The lady at the front is rude & than we get our food & it's in a to go box after we said we was dining in. Than the cook comes from the back & tell us he's not trying to be rude but why are we eating our food here and no to go. Than asked how long is it going to take us to leave. And it's so empty in there. They really need to learn some manners.

I took the grands and their moms to get pizza and we all shared the largest pie. There was plenty to go around and we enjoyed eating in the small place after a walk on the loop.

I recently moved from NYC to Saint Louis. I've been looking for good pizza and let me tell you...this pizza is great LEGIT NYC pizza! So glad I found this place! Cool staff also!
When you order delivery to anything more complicated than a house (say, an apartment or office building), they won't even try to make contact to say they've arrived. Instead, they'll leave first and THEN call you to say they couldn't find you. Then, you'll call the store wondering what happened, and the staff won't know what you're talking about. They'll send the driver back, who will then repeat the process at least twice until you end up sitting on the curb for 40 minutes so you don't miss them. Then somehow you'll still miss them.

Pizza is great - don't get me wrong, but every time I order from this place, the woman who answers the phone is ruse and hurried and acts like you're bothering her when you order. Then, last night, when I went to pick up my pizza, she asked me my name associated with the order, took my credit card, charged me, then takes 2 more customers who were in line behind me. The second group of people behind me had a pick-up order, too, but she goes and gets their pizza and brings it out to them while I'm just standing there waiting. My order was promised in 25-40 minutes and I got there 40 minutes later, so I know it was ready. I had to ask her if my order was ready after she handed the other people their pizza pick up order and she didn't even answer me, she just gave me a ruse look, went in the back for 5 minutes then came out with one pizza. I told her I had 2 and she again, didn't say anything or apologize, just went in the back and came back with my other pizza. I don't understand the logic of taking someone's money when they are paying for a pick-up order, then, just not saying anything and having them stand to the side when you know their order is ready and they have paid. I have had the same rude experience every time I have visited this location of Racanelli's in the past 3 months. I'm sorry, but I don't love the pizza enough to keep subjecting myself to this rude customer service. Hopefully management can see this and take some much needed action against this person who acts like you're bothering her when you come in to the place.

We , my wife and I, tried to go here Saturday night, and there was a group of 4 before us in line. We were all wanted slices of pizza and was told they did not have any and we're not about to make any. It was about 7:45 so not really close to closing or anything. The other group and us all walked out losing 6 customers and surely many others. We came in for a slice or two each,not to buy a whole pizza or split, and we all thought that was how it would be here,maybe at worst have to wait for a pizza to get cooked. This left a bad taste in my mouth and doubt I will return. It's a waste of time to go to a by the slice pizzeria and not be able to get any kids and of slice, trying to be upsold to more than we want on a night out.
