Located at a beautiful spot by the river, The Landing Current River offers a decent restaurant that turns into a church on Sundays. Visitors can enjoy live music on the sandbar and nearby dive bars. Known for good steaks, although slightly pricier. The place stands out for hosting unique events like rubber duck races and eclipse gatherings. The restaurant, The Blue Heron, provides great service and very tasty, well-proportioned meals. The steak, especially the ribeye, is highly recommended and considered the best ever by some guests. The ambiance may be affected by ongoing construction, but the staff is hospitable and handles the logistics of floating trips well. Overall, it remains a go-to spot in Van Buren for a steak dinner and a fun, lively atmosphere.
