“Went here after looking up local diners on google, as I try to support family style restaurants when I travel. Walked in and was greeted right away and told to sit where we wanted. Place was pretty full with locals all chatting across tables like a community of friends. I ordered a “three little piggies” omelette and my friend ordered the chicken fried steak. The meal was on our table in under 10 minutes even though the place was packed. My omelette was stuffed to overflowing with meats and the chicken fried steak was almost the size of the plate. My friend also ordered a cinnamon roll to go. When I say this thing was big, that is an understatement. It was the size of a large to go box. Friendly staff, homelike atmosphere, large portions, nicely priced and very tasty. Overall, a great place to eat! Stop by this place if you’re ever in Washington, MO!!!”

Today I ordered both of these and Not only was the service very fast for pickup roughly 10 minutes but cheap as well. Two meals plus two extra cups of queso was only $25.18. I highly recommend that you tip these people. Ordering was simple and straight to the point and the food was superb. Overall 4/5. The only issues are the distance from where I live (a negligible problem) and the size of the restaurant small so I was a little cramped. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant around St Clair, Union and Washington combined. Probably the best Mexican in the metropolitan area in general.”

Real cheese, not the synthetic kind that most Mexican restaurants are using because it's cheap and melts well. Located at 570 E Springfield, in the little business strip next to the funeral home.”
