Love this place. The food is amazing and so is the staff. Angel himself treats everyone like family. I go to his place at least four times a week. Worth the drive for the best food at the lake!

Angel’s Mexican Restaurant on Horseshoe Bend Parkway serves some of the best Mexican food at the lake of the Ozarks. The food is top notch, with the Enchiladas Supreme meal being delicious, and the salsa, guacamole, and rice incredible. Chile rellenos are hot and fresh, pollo bandido is just as good, and pastor tacos are on point. Beans, rice, and salsa have flavor. The service is top notch, courteous, conscientious, very efficient, and fluent in the English language. The young lady that waited on guests was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. Professional staff keep tables clean. The food, service, and everyone’s food at the table is excellent. However, the service, food prep, and payment can be a little slow, and the atmosphere is very loud. The view of the lake is incredibly beautiful. Prices are comparable to Camdenton, and it is a good value. Angel himself comes out more than once to check on guests. Angel is a local legend. Highly recommend this authentic Mexican restaurant.
