“First time ever going here, the staff was great, the atmosphere was perfect, the food was really good, and our waitress was one of the best I have ever seen, we had 16 people in our party and she took care of of perfect in everyway, definately a 5 star restaurant...Parking: Plenty of parking area”

“This is a wonderful little place and perfect for after a day on the lake! They have a full service restaurant inside and ice cream walk-up windows outside. Ice cream and other dessert options are available inside the restaurant too. The only server was taking care of all the tables in the restaurant area. Granted it's not very big, but 7-8 parties at a time can be a bit much. But she nailed it! Everything was great! They have a very solid staff and food is excellent!”

“Speedy Cone is not just for dessert! They have a very comfortable dining room with excellent catfish po’ boys and chicken Philly sandwiches. (They have lots more, but those are my favorites.) The staff is super friendly, and it’s very clean and pleasant. They are very efficient with call-in takeout meals as well.”

“I loved staying here. It was a last minute work site and found this lodge. I was not disappointed! It’s a little out of the way of the city, and that’s what makes it great. It’s quiet and it’s own little corner.Check in was awesome. The lady at the front desk was so darn professional and nice. Gave me details on the area and recommended the pub.Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable.It was nice coming back to this room for a few days after work. Room was always cool. “Very beautiful hotel just a bit outta city. Very nice and respectable,knowledgeable lady at front desk. Beautifully decorated in wildlife. Rooms decorated same way. Comfortable beds. All the amenities you need all in one place. Also a small pond Gazebos and a Bullwinkles Lounge. Prices for rooms are fairly cheap.And dog friendly..We will definitely stay again.”
