This was the first time in about 10 years that we have been back to our local store, Penny our server was AWESOME, we tried the 2 for $25 menu, the appetizer was good but not as good as advertised, Dee had the lime chicken, I had the OMG-adilla burger, both were good but not what was pictured, I liked mine more than Dee liked hers, the value of the meal and service was no more than expected, AGAIN!!!Penny was great!!! The meal mid-afternoon fair!!
We've usually had great service here, but this last time we only saw the waitress twice during our whole visit so say with empty drinks during our meal.
I used to eat Applebee's a lot in my 20s and have since stopped eating them for a long time and I didn't know why. I travel a lot and doing it hard to eat healthy on the road without eating some rendition of a salad. What I'm getting at is I went to this Applebee's, ordered a grilled chicken with broccoli and mashed potatoes. I expected the normal hard skinny piece of chicken.
