I’m honestly ashamed that I had not visited this place sooner. After looking for different distilleries in the area, I found The Washington Distilling Company visited their website and thought it would be a nice place to stop by. I was not prepared for the amount of offerings that Rich and his team have worked tirelessly on perfecting. We were lucky to be the only ones there at the time (not sure how considering how amazing everything was) so we had awesome interactions with Rich and he was able to give in-depth details about all of their products. Everything we sampled was amazing, and you can clearly tell that they care about producing a great quality product. Do yourself a favor and stop by, you won’t be disappointed. Thanks for a great experience!

Do yourself a favor and check this company out if you are at all into bourbon/whiskey. Was at an event Saturday the founder was pouring samples and there wasn’t anything I didn’t enjoy. I’ll make my way to the distillery soon to taste all the stuff I didn’t try yet. Prices also blew me away for the quality and enjoyability of the pours I had!

Found them online after coming to the area on a wine tasting tour. Superb in all aspects! Amazing bourbon, gin and vodka. A MUST. AND ABSOLUTE MUST VISIT if you like spirits and are even remotely in the area. 2 hour detour? Worth it. 3 hours? Definitely. An American treasure.

My wife and I made the trip from Jefferson City to try Washington Distillery on the recommendation of a fellow whiskey lover and friend. We were truly impressed by our treatment and the variety of samples we were allowed to try. Luckily we had the place to ourselves and were able to meant Curt, Vince, and Rich who were full of the tales of their craft. You can tell it is really a passion for them and their products reflect it. Bought a case + and will be returning. Highly recommend this experience, although sizeable groups may find it 'cozy'. Since it was just my wife and I at the time we didn't mind at all. Thank you Washington Distillery!

What a fun place to sample some local spirits. Very friendly staff. Tasty bourbons. It is a must do if in Washington.

This distilling company knows what they’re doing. The flavors from each cask pull through beautifully and are very distinct. Small, intimate tasting room, and the staff is very personable. Highly recommend stopping by, you won’t regret it!

You must try a tasting! Rich and the crew are awesome people, very knowledgeable, you will have a fun time and have some amazing bourbons. Custom mix you a bottle!

We took a group of 5 here on Oct. 26th for a tasting and had a strange experience. Two (2) of us arrived early, participated in small talk with the bartender, and watched as another group of 4 started a tasting. We all talked about the distillery trails we were on and took recommendations from the bartender. No issues. Then the 3 remaining in our group arrived. The bartender told 1 of our group he wouldn't serve him and the only explanation given was that he had to follow "laws." We thought he was kidding and hence, started the tasting. He was not kidding and refused to serve our friend. It was so weird that when we left and the door closed, we burst out in laughter. The only reason that we could think of was that the bartender judged our friend as drunk. He is a retired fellow whose movement and speech are on the slower end of cadence. We went down the street and bought our friend ice cream. (The Dairy Delight was tasty!) It has turned into a story to tell, but I will not be back.

This place was absolutely fantastic when we stopped in this week. They guys working were awesome and did a great job explaining the different bottles they made. We were able to do a flight of the different bottles and all of them were solid. The prices were very reasonable and I happily bought a whiskey to take home. It was worth the stop for sure!

Glad we stopped by and tried their offerings. Have something for all tastes and preferences. Great experience.
