We took a group of 5 here on Oct. 26th for a tasting and had a strange experience. Two (2) of us arrived early, participated in small talk with the bartender, and watched as another group of 4 started a tasting. We all talked about the distillery trails we were on and took recommendations from the bartender. No issues. Then the 3 remaining in our group arrived. The bartender told 1 of our group he wouldn't serve him and the only explanation given was that he had to follow "laws." We thought he was kidding and hence, started the tasting. He was not kidding and refused to serve our friend. It was so weird that when we left and the door closed, we burst out in laughter. The only reason that we could think of was that the bartender judged our friend as drunk. He is a retired fellow whose movement and speech are on the slower end of cadence. We went down the street and bought our friend ice cream. (The Dairy Delight was tasty!) It has turned into a story to tell, but I will not be back.

Phenomenal experience from start to finish. My husband and I did their Mashbuild Bourbon creation for our wedding anniversary. Not only was everything we tried delicious, but we were also treated with incredible hospitality by Vince and crew. Whether you are a local or just traveling through, this is a MUST STOP IN kind of place. You won't regret it. Cheers!

This place was absolutely fantastic when we stopped in this week. They guys working were awesome and did a great job explaining the different bottles they made. We were able to do a flight of the different bottles and all of them were solid. The prices were very reasonable and I happily bought a whiskey to take home. It was worth the stop for sure!

Glad we stopped by and tried their offerings. Have something for all tastes and preferences. Great experience.

Awesome Bourbon

Excellent experience! My brothers and I made out own Mash Build bottle with the guidance of owner Rich. Had a great time and learned a lot. Tim in the tasting room was welcoming and witty. Enjoyed our time here. Thank you!

What a great experience we had at the tasting room of The Washington Distilling Company! We went there with the Missouri Whiskey Society. They are so creative! They have created such an interesting, high quality selection. We walked away with a couple of bottles to add to our collection, and will be back again and again. They love sharing their passion and give you so much information. This place is a real treasure!

The hospitality we received when we visited was 2nd to none! loved the product as well. Thank you for a wonderful experience and for putting up with my 2 rambunctious children.

Fantastic line of bourbons and ryes, and they offer a tasting experience of 9 in a flight. There's likely something for everyone here, so don't miss it when in town.

Really cool tasting experience with Tim. He was very knowledgeable and we ended up tasting every product. I would highly recommend coming in and checking it out!

My fiancé and I stopped on a whim, killing some time before we could check into a nearby wedding venue. I am super happy that we did. I absolutely recommend checking it out. The owner puts on a great tasting and tour. Fun conversation and even better, the whisky is fantastic! I bought 4 bottles. My only regret is that I didn't buy more. Thanks for the wonderful time and whisky!

First visit to the distillery and really enjoyed our tasting and talking with the owner Rich Anders. His product is very good and Rick sure shows his passion for his spirits. His heart goes into every bottle. Tastings are in small beakers which you keep after the tasting. We purchased several bottles and can’t wait to share with family. Tom from St Charles.
