Do yourself a favor and check this company out if you are at all into bourbon/whiskey. Was at an event Saturday the founder was pouring samples and there wasn’t anything I didn’t enjoy. I’ll make my way to the distillery soon to taste all the stuff I didn’t try yet. Prices also blew me away for the quality and enjoyability of the pours I had!
Found them online after coming to the area on a wine tasting tour. Superb in all aspects! Amazing bourbon, gin and vodka. A MUST. AND ABSOLUTE MUST VISIT if you like spirits and are even remotely in the area. 2 hour detour? Worth it. 3 hours? Definitely. An American treasure.
My wife and I made the trip from Jefferson City to try Washington Distillery on the recommendation of a fellow whiskey lover and friend. We were truly impressed by our treatment and the variety of samples we were allowed to try. Luckily we had the place to ourselves and were able to meant Curt, Vince, and Rich who were full of the tales of their craft.
