Found them online after coming to the area on a wine tasting tour. Superb in all aspects! Amazing bourbon, gin and vodka. A MUST. AND ABSOLUTE MUST VISIT if you like spirits and are even remotely in the area. 2 hour detour? Worth it. 3 hours? Definitely. An American treasure.
My wife and I made the trip from Jefferson City to try Washington Distillery on the recommendation of a fellow whiskey lover and friend. We were truly impressed by our treatment and the variety of samples we were allowed to try. Luckily we had the place to ourselves and were able to meant Curt, Vince, and Rich who were full of the tales of their craft. This distilling company knows what they’re doing. The flavors from each cask pull through beautifully and are very distinct. Small, intimate tasting room, and the staff is very personable. Highly recommend stopping by, you won’t regret it!
