I Have purchased two muddys with coleslaw, broccoli and mashed potatoes The coleslaw supposed to be cold, but it was warm. The broccoli was too salty and burnt and covered up in a sauce mashed potatoes was very watery And they did not taste like mashed potatoes I Hope They can understand and make this issue resolve But the sandwich was good It’s just their sides Suck ?

Took grandkids last weekend. (Jan 2024). First, the guy at the register was charging me for the group behind me! I questioned the amount and he said “oh aren’t you with them”? Then I had a bite each of my potato salad and coleslaw and didn’t touch the rest. It was disgusting. I left a note on it saying they were the worst sides I ever had. Because of this bad experience I will never eat at Sugar Fire again. $58 for three lunches! All I had was pulled pork and drink.

Love the Washington, MO location. Have been there multiple times with my wife, got to introduce a friend from CO to it today, he can't wait to get home to take his wife to the Westminster location. 10/10

Tried this place several times and have been treated poorly by the staff every time. And, the food is rarely very good. The sides often appear to have been sitting under the heat lamps all day, and not very appealing. There are a few really good sides, though, including their beans. We love BBQ, but the meat here is dry and flavorless most of the time. I really wish this place was good, because I have been a BBQ fan my entire life, and this is the closest place to my home. But I avoid it because of the rude staff, and the dry meat. I have a really hard time understanding why this place gets such good reviews, because although I have tried this place MANY times, I have only had a decent experience on a very rare occasion. And never have I had a really good experience.

No signal in this town. Had to use my nose. I smelled bbq. Thankfully the nose knows. Had the big muddy. You gotta smash this thing down and lift up with a spoon if you want to leave the mud on the tray. Brisket is good and tender. Jalapeno sausage has a nice crunch and bite. Pickles have a great snap and not too sour. Slaw doesn't detract from the bbq even though it looks like a lot. The cowboy beans are hardy and are similar to Brunswick stew. Not sure what all is in it. Very nice atmosphere. Friend friendly people. Red cream soda is like big red. Thanks ya'll for the Q!

Oh baby! I don’t hail from anywhere in which BBQ is taken seriously but I could still tell this was some top-tier stuff.Brisket, chicken/biscuit, pulled pork, and especially the fall-off-the-bone RIBS were all scrumptious. Sides were all terrific as well—I’d go with the creamed-spinach. My favorite sauces, surprisingly, were the Carolina Gold and Alabama White but you can’t go wrong with any from their nice array.Parking: Free parking lot across the street.
The people were so nice and helpful. They were out of a lot of stuff, but that is understandable because it was Harvest Fest and busy. The food was not edible. We spent almost $100. The only thing edible was a salad.

The brisket and pulled pork sandwiches were good. Outdoor tables could use a good wipe down. Trays could use a good scrubbing too.

The pulled pork was just "okay," the sides were positively disgusting, the service was even worse. It wouldn't hurt those boys to crack a small smile. We definitely won't be a repeat customer.

This was the most disgusting barbecue I have ever eaten. Brisket was so dry I threw it away. Gave me the ends of the meat with all bark and no meat. I got the most expensive meal they have, and didn’t eat any of it! Pulled pork was sawdust, brisket was inedible, Turkey tasted boiled, and the sausage was not even cooked! Very unhappy with this place! Needs to be shutdown. Disgusting.
