“We frequent Teleo Coffee with our family after moving to St. Louis. As a European, in my first months living in the US, I visited so many coffee shops where I could feel the cozy atmosphere and smooth, delicious coffee like in my homeland, and I found it here. This place has become like a second home to me, especially thanks to the friendly baristas and owner of the establishment. This is the very moment when you come to this cute house with a huge bright veranda and they greet you and call you by name. They also participate in donations, helping different organizations during certain periods with a small percentage of drink sales, which is amazing!P.S. “I went here today and it was amazing!! The food was great, but we were also the last in line and it was starting to rain so they found us a place inside (we were waiting for outdoor seating). Everyone was so kind and helpful here and did I mention the FOOD???They do close when they run out of food so get there early. we got delayed for reasons and ended up getting there around 3 and were the last served before they ran out of meat.The sauces on the tables are great.“
“Wow! First off, this was my first actual experience of Bosnian cuisine. Many of our office rank Taste of Bosnia as the BEST in the area and they definitely set the bar!As a group, we ordered the Sarme (cabbage rolls), Mjesano Meso (meat platter), Buffalo Chicken, Kupus salata (cabbage salad) & Jahnija (stew).Everyone devoured their food. I had the cabbage rolls, and they are delectable! Filled with a finely minced meat, saurkraut then covered in a sauce, I was blown away by the balance of flavors. The thick & moist scoop of mashed potatoes was perfect to mix with the meal.All meals came with thick, fresh bread which was a nice treat & sour cream to spread on it.The restaurant was sparking clean with a warm, welcoming interior. I was surprised to find out the restaurant isn't brand new, as every single space is immaculate and well decorated.The service was excellent as well. The lady at the counter was super polite asking if I've been here before, then welcomed me as a guest.I cannot wait to try the whole menu. If you want authentic Bosnian cuisine, then this is an absolute must. “The food from this establishment is Amazing.I ordered the pulled chicken, 1/2 slab of ribs. The sides that I ordered were the Macaroni and Baked Beans. Those baked beans are some of the BEST baked beans that I’ve ever had. My mouth is watering thinking about them.The rib was superb and falling off of the bone. “Nice little neighborhood grocery store, with a long history that also serves some great sandwiches! We tried the Roma and Mary Jane sandwiches and loved both. All sandwiches come with a pickle spear and small bag of chips. The flavors were nice and fresh, with great taste! About $9 each and a good size. We sat and ate at the counter and read about the history of the building. Next time I want to get some of the side salads to try. The service was a bit odd, as there were 4 people behind the sandwich counter and 1 at the front/store register. The 4 folks were all talking to each other and didn't notice us for a bit. The guy who took the order seemed a bit upset and didn't really talk much. He sent me up front to pay and then said to come back in 5 min for the food. After a few minutes I came back and the other folks helped find the order. They were both very friendly, and helpful. Must have just caught the first guy in a bad moment. Is it a place for date night? No. It is worth going there and grabbing lunch to eat outside on a nice day? Hard "YES"! Great food at a good value and a local place, can't ask for much more than that!“

“My daughter took me there for brunch. As a very picky eater, the food was surprisingly delicious. Not too salty or over seasoned. We had a great server and the variety of foods offered was very nice. Our reservations were for 11am but had to wait half hour for the food to be ready. All we had was water and those delicious Mimosas on an empty stomach. Bread on the table would have been nice. We did not know how things worked and had to ask server and other guests what to do other than sit there. Timeliness was an issue for me. That aside, I certainly plan to return as the food was delicious and very nice atmosphere.“
“We've driven past here countless times and today had the opportunity to have lunch. It's a store front in a small strip, clean and nicely decorated inside, with 3-4 umbrella tables outside. The counter staff were very kind and offered recommendations. I had the chicken spedini with salad. I didn't realize it also came with a generous bowl of spaghetti and red sauce. I'm Italian and most Italians will tell you, "We never eat sauce out (meaning tomato sauce), so I took it home for the kiddo. My husband selected the chicken parmigiana which also included pasta and we both had salad. Our entrees and the broccoli that accompanied them were delicious. The quantity of food was too much for me, but the hubby loved it as he was ravenous by the time we stopped. The salads were tasty, though the cheese we added came in fairly large sticks - not bad, just oddly proportioned. Everything tasted good, but we were a bit shocked by the prices. While the counter staff were very nice, she didn't indicate how much of an up charge there was for a small side salad. We'd expected close to $20/each and ended up with a bill of almost $60. We won't pay that much for lunch again anytime soon, though we would consider them for catering because the food was very tasty and the catering prices weren't terrible, thus the 4-stars. It would be 5-stars except for the unexpected pricing.“
“I had to order 75 lunches for an all-day conference and decided to go with Best Box Lunches. I had eaten one of their box lunches in the past, and it really was the best. I ordered a week out and sent my order via email. Within an hour or so, I received a confirmation. It was scheduled. As Friday approached, I reached out to make sure we were still on. Almost immediately, I received confirmation that we were good.Friday arrived along with a family crisis. It was hard for me to stay focused. Right before the first break at 10 something, I was freaking out that lunch hadn't arrived. That I had set it up at the wrong time. So I immediately emailed Best Box Lunches and asked if they could bring the lunches sooner. Keep in mind that I had ordered 75 lunches, so I was really asking a lot. I immediately received a response stating that they would try. That's all I needed to hear. We weren't creating a cure for cancer. If the lunch was late, it would be fine. My family crisis got more intense, but I wasn't freaking out about lunch now. It's amazing what a simple, QUICK email reply can do for a person. When the lunches arrived, they were perfect. They looked like you hadn't been rushed and that you had all day to make them. The bottom line is that I TOTALLY recommend them and will continue to use Best Box Lunches whenever I can. They made me look good.“

Highly recommended ice cream in Kirkwood. No indoor seating, so be prepared for the weather. Although you will be tempted to order two scoops, a single scoop is a sizable serving.“

We hosted a Celebration of Life for my Mom here recently, and I cannot say enough good things about how Steve (the owner/manager) and his wife managed our event seamlessly, and went above and beyond to be sure that, at a very difficult time for our family, we had everything covered. It's a perfect space for many types of events and they have good connections for catering too. Great set up for food, drink, slideshow, microphone, music, and parking. A great value, too, compared to others.“
