Robust Bistro & Wine Bar provides a pleasant dining experience with a fantastic hummus dish and a great selection of wines. The outdoor area is quite nice, especially on a spring evening with a full shade, setting sun, and mild temperature, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The staff is friendly, professional, and helpful, making guests feel welcome. The charcuterie with meat and cheese is very good, and the side salads are great. The restaurant offers excellent service, a wide wine selection, and a dinner menu with many gluten-free options. The smoked cheddar cheese plate is a must-try, along with the best gluten-free crackers. The wine flight, Bibb salad, and Coq Au Vin are all delicious choices, served with individual portions already plated. Dishes like crab cakes and a croque madame are excellent, and the live music adds to the enjoyable atmosphere. Some dishes like crab cakes and shrimp and grits could benefit from more seasoning, and the chef’s cioppino was described as “pale,” lacking spice and green herbs. Despite some long wait times for drinks and meals, the overall experience remains positive, and guests look forward to returning.
