“Hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant. Staff is amazing and the place is always neat and clean. The tacos are fantastic and my go-to is the shredded brisket and ground beef. Outdoor patio is dog friendly and screened in. Special shout out to the wondering Janine !!!“

“The food was delicious. My wife had the 6th street fajita taco, and she said it was the best she had ever had. I ordered the Carmen Burrito without the cheese to keep it vegan. The grilled sweet potatoes with their rice and black beans were spiced so perfectly. It also had other veggies. I asked to see if they sold their spice, but unfortunately, not. The chips and salsas are not the standard salsa. It is also delicious. All staff was very friendly, and our waitress, Emily, was very personable, engaging in good conversation. We also had a margarita and Paloma. The margarita was delicious, and my wife loved her Paloma. I'm not sure when we'll be back in St Louis, but when we do, we will definitely come back. It's within 3 miles of the Missouri Botanical Gardens. Enjoy the gardens, then relax here. We highly encourage everyone to visit this restaurant.Vegetarian options: The Carmen Burrito is vegetarian, and can be vegan by eliminating the cheese. There are other options.“

“We recently got a big order for a little shindig we were having. The people were nice, the process was smooth, and the food was an absolute hit. We have been here a number of times and will continue to but this was such a positive experience I had to leave a review :)“

“We arrived to a full house and we were a party of 6. Immediately behind us was a party of 10. We found out there was only 2 servers on staff and were super concerned. I ordered the Enchiladas Mexicana and I'm telling you it was one of the most flavorful dishes I've ever had. And the service? Nothing less than AMAZING!“

“TL;DR: Not a typical Mexican restaurant, but absolutely awesome atmosphere if you sit outside.We stopped in after a soccer tournament and enjoyed a relaxed meal with family.I had the Brunch French Toast. It's Brioche soaked in horchata. It's a different take on French toast but good.Several other members of our party enjoyed quesadillas and loved them.“

“Mission Taco Joint did not disappoint! My son and I were in from Chicago for a soccer tournament and decided to try it out. We started with the Carne Asada Steak Fries and OMG! The meat was cooked to perfection. We then picked out some tacos to share. I have to say these are some of the best tacos I have ever eaten. My absolute favorites were the Chicken BBQ and the BLT. These 2 are a must try. The sides We ordered were street corn and the cilantro lime rice and they were right up there with everything. The service was great too! Sangria...YUM. “The ladies meet every month at a different place and the majority likes Mexican food so we chose here this month. Food is pretty good, don't order fish taco off the happy hour menu. We sat outside, beautiful patio and day. We had a good time. Pretty place for nice meal and chit chat. My friend really likes salmon quesadilla and the waitress said they just brought that back!“

“My wife and I came for dinner at the restaurant for the first time and we enjoyed it very much. The service was good. The salsa was made with fresh ingredients. We each had a soft steak taco; it had a lot of meat, fresh ingredients, slightly toasted shell which added flavor. We shared a chicken flauta dish which was delicious also. We will definitely come back and dine at this restaurant again.“

“Food was really good. Four of us for lunch. 2 of us got burgers and fries. Really good. 1 person got the baby back ribs with 2 sides. Good but expensive.I person got one of the lunch specials with half a sandwich. My meal with drink was 12.00. A bargain these days.Waitress was a Saint. Lol. Two of us are somewhat particular. She handled wonderfully. All in all a good experience. Only negative was no gluten free options.“
