Best sushi in the St. Louis area for sure. Shocked me how much I liked it. Super fresh

Avoid this place at all costs! They will not remake items they messed up, they will not remove items you didn't order off of your bill! They will not check on your table! And when you ask for a manager or refuse to pay for items you did not order they will call the police on you! Went there tonight for dinner with some out of town family. Party of 6, in an otherwise dead empty restaurant. Everyone orders, they come to me last. I have a lot of Nigiri, three rolls and an appetizer for my group so I graciously wrote the entire order down in my notes and presented it to the waitress( who was less than thrilled already) I clearly write in my order to give me the spicy mayo on two of the rolls and the appetizer ON THE SIDE. App comes out- covered in spicy mayo. I don't say anything even tho it's a 10$ two piece app. Everybody else's food comes out- they say we are waiting on sushi. 15 minutes later- ( everyone else is mostly done by now) here comes my two 17$ rolls. Well guess what- they are COVERED in spicy mayo and the waitress also brings out two sides of more spicy mayo?? I have to wait another 10 minutes for her to even enter the dining room area to flag her down. When I do I politely say- hey uhh these were supposed to be with the spicy sauce on the side. She scoffs and says " well we don't remake rolls here" So again, politely, I ask if there is a manager present. She says no but that she will call them. Another 20 minutes goes by. Everyone else is done eating by now. She comes back and says manager said we will not remake your rolls. Begrudgingly I conceded, said hey it's ok don't worry about it, and off she went. I then decided I'd just pay for the mistake and order something else I could eat. But, she never came back to the table. Ever. Finally after a long long wait the bills arrive. As I'm looking over my more than 100$ check- I notice that I've been charged- for TWO sides of spicy mayo- even tho it was never ordered and was supposed to be off the rolls entirely etc. I then ask for the charge to be removed- to which they responded- we're not removing anything- you have to pay the full amount. By now the other two groups have already paid and gotten receipts. Upon which they both realized that this place has decided to add a 20% auto gratuity to all three separate bills. So they have already force scammed my family out of about 36$ in forced tip. Again I ask for a manager. I state that I have no issue paying for all my food( even tho it wasn't eaten) and that I don't even care about the items on my check that were never ordered- but that there was NO SHOT IN HELL that I was giving this horrendous waitress a 20% 22$ tip on top of all this after the experience we'd been given. I pull out my cash, enough to cover the bill and leave the waitress w an 8$ tip. And am told now at the end of the meal oh yeah we don't accept cash. And that you have to pay the FULL amount , the food that was never ordered , the food that was not eaten, and the forced 20% tip or they would call the police!! This is today, on Easter, in front of our of town family, parents, children, and the one other customer in the restaurant. Well needless to say- at this point- we weren't having it. The "shift lead" proceeds to call Webster groves PD- who arrive 15 minutes later. We are informed that even though this is egregious from the restaurant- that there's nothing that they can do about it. The police were so polite and respectful and wholly on the customers side. They talked to the shift lead talked to us , all privately, and ultimately told us best thing we could do is pay it, contest it, and leave a review. And also that we could grab the owner/managers name and number to contact them directly about this. Thankful for the officers who arrived! We go inside to run the card and ask the shift lead for the manager or owners name. She refuses to give us any information, the busser calls us ridiculous and tells us to shut up and leave. All of this no

Outstanding sushi!!! We were looking for a quick place to eat while visiting from out of town and this was an instant hit. The sushi was extremely fresh and paired well in all the rolls we had. The place was very busy with a large wait at the door, but we sat at the sushi bar and were served right away. It was very upbeat with the sushi chefs hard a work right in front of us. We truly can't wait to go back

I've had Takoyaki before in other places in St Louis, but this one so far is the best one I've had. It's not just batter with soy sauce on top like I see a bunch elsewhere!Things can get a little pricy, but the quality of the food is worth it.

I used to like this place, it was affordable and delicious however now they have put an outrageous service free on pick up orders. (Not Postmates or a third party) On a $28.00 order there was 7.28 cent service fee. That’s quarter of the price just to order online. Just Unacceptable

I’m so happy to have Sushi Station in Webster Groves! The wait staff is so kind and knowledgeable about the dishes offered. They recommended the orange chicken appetizer and the Sexy Girl roll. Both were amazing. This might be my new go to sushi spot.

Everything is really expensive they up charge you for a packet of sauce. They up charge you if you don't eat inside the building and get a pick up. I'm surprised they don't charge you for breathing inside their building. It's ridiculous. The food is definitely not good enough for the price you pay portions are small too.

Honestly, I take all my friends here to get sushi. One of the best sushi places in STL. They have a ton to choose from and there's things for people if they aren't into sushi. Rolls are a nice size and I can't wait to come back for more. The service was quick and they checked on me constantly. Wasn't too loud either. If it was a nice day out and wasn't too windy, I would've eaten outside for lunch.

We recently had dinner at Sushi Station. We enjoyed it all and more specifically we enjoyed the crab rangoon roll. Limited seating and small but we were comfortable and would visit again.

Delicious sushi for lunch. Had the Sexy girl roll and the Mattagator roll (a little spicy) based off waitress recommendations and they were so good. Definitely would go back.Parking: There is a free parking garage behind the restaurant. I was able to find a spot but there are quite a few reserved spots in there for employees of surrounding companies so I can see it being difficult if busy. My sister found free street parking.

The food is always great! The serve was amazing! The owner is a problem. My mother and I have overheard her speaking outloud about how she calls the police more in the summer times and how she only allows individuals who are 16 and up to come inside her resturaunt. She also spoke outloud about how working in “university City” in that “area” is not good! She really needs to be careful how openly she speaks about certain topics.. The very first time my mother and I went to this restaurant she apparently was watching her cameras and this man brought his children to the resturaunt this day. The father got up to use the restroom and I guess the owner thought they were not going to pay the bill. She rushed back to the server and said “print their bill right now or I will be calling the police”. She did not see me or my mother sitting there, but when she realized she quickly tired to nervously talk with us. She asked us where we live etc which was very odd to us.. please be careful coming to this place as the owner does not respect the very customers who support her business. She also adds a tip already to people bills… We will not be back because the owner sets a very negative & hostile atmosphere!

Food tasted good but I had a problem with service. We Waited for an hour for the table when they said 20 minutes , and didn’t get service for 30 minutes after we sat down, the food then came an hour later after we ordered. Bad service and no one even explained.

Unfortunately I have to give this place a 4 instead of a five. There is one reason.we got the 20 piece sashimi...a few of the pieces were on the close to frozen stage but they were so large ya can't be upset as most of them were amazing. Everything else they just killed it. I am thinking not many people order that kinda here order much sashimi here. I watched the chefs hammer roll after roll out. So I give them another pass on the almost frozen sashimi. So everything is amazing right.....then we get the bill for 20 pieces of huge sashimi, 2 rolls, large saki, glass of wine and soda. Bill was 130. For those that eat sushi often know how good of a price tag this was. We will be back often. We have a new sushi place. We are a bit snobby with sushi as we took classes on how to do it and did our own all up until bobs seafood closed down. Super glad we found this place

Great sushi stop in old town WG. Very fresh and flavorful. Good selection of rolls and sashimi. Also a good beer selection. Can't wait to come back with the kids.

Waited 1.5 hours to be seated. Sat in the parking lot waiting for a text. Went back in to check on the status and was told they were not seating anymore. Manager told the hostess to not call and notify us this. Wasted 2 hours of our time and the owner said it was a misunderstanding. Extremely unprofessional and wasted our night. So upsetting and I don't recommend after that experience.
