Parotta Palace is an Indian restaurant in St. Louis that serves authentic South Indian and Chettinad cuisine with bold flavors. The food is fresh, homemade, and full of flavor, and the parotas are especially good. The restaurant has a nice interior with nice place settings and an atmosphere focused on India. The staff is nice, helpful, respectful, friendly, and attentive, and the owner is incredibly nice, welcoming, and friendly. The service is excellent and makes the experience even better.
The menu offers dishes such as tikka masala paneer (or chicken), Thalapakatti Goat Nalli Biriyani, Goat Kizhi Parotta, Hyderabadi Mutton Dum Biryani, Mutton Kothu Parotta, Veg Kotthu Parotta, and Veg Salna. The Thalapakatti Goat Nalli Biriyani has mutton that is so tender and soft, with a unique way of presentation, and the Biriyani rice tastes exactly like how it would if bought from Madurai. The Goat Kizhi Parotta is absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and unlike anything else. The Veg Salna is especially delicious and goes perfectly with the Kothu Parotta. The food is consistent, fresh, flavorful, and well prepared.
Parotta Palace can be rated the best South Indian restaurant in the entire US. It is easily one of the best places to eat in St. Louis and is definitely worth trying.
