Good place to meet up with friends!
Starbucks is my go-to for coffee, and I've been going to the Wentzville location for nearly 4 years. I see how hard their employees work to make drinks and serve customers, and I truly appreciate them! My only complaint is the consistency of the drinks. One of my favorite drinks is the cortado, and I've ordered 4 of them throughout the week. Since the cortado is only 8 ounces, twice this week they were only half full. This Starbucks Coffee Company location receives mixed feedback. The team is consistently described as upbeat, friendly, pleasant, polite, super nice, and welcoming. The notes on the cups make customers smile, and the people in the drive-thru also make customers smile. However, there are significant issues with consistency. Drinks are often not made consistently; for example, a brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso tasted amazing one day and completely different the next morning with barely any sweetener. A barista explained this is because they are doing 4 half pumps instead of 2 full pumps. Mobile orders are frequently wrong, though this has been getting better over the last few months. The food options are not recommended, as the bacon gouda is usually overheated, resulting in chewy bread and rubbery egg/cheese. The drive-thru is a bit slow, so customers should allow extra time. Despite these issues, the service is always great, and the location is considered a great place to get coffee and breakfast.
