“In my opinion Captain D's of West Plains Missouri has remained consistent the food is always been great stepped up and seemed very professional and very proud of their work. And one thing comes to mind a great little seafood place It just fits!
Also I dropped some cocktail sauce and it splattered everywhere I tried to clean it up to where nobody would see because I was embarrassed and then everybody saw and they didn't make me feel bad at all and then also other customers were helping me clean... so then I got really nervous and I dropped a whole thing of tartar sauce anyhow it was a pleasant surprise when my friend Tiffany and her daughter - Chaslin had me as their company for dinner!“

“Good food at decent prices with great service.

Ordered the blackened salmon, fish and chips, and the onion blossom appetizer. The fish and chips was really good and the freshly made tartar sauce made it better. The onion blossom appetizer is seriously great, we liked it better than other similar battered onion options at competing restaurants. The salmon was our least favorite, the taste of salmon was muted at best; however, the raspberry chipotle sauce made the dish desirable albeit not because it tasted like salmon as the sauce overtook the little salmon taste that was present.

The “blackened salmon” was not done right, it was more freshly grilled than blackened. We politely notified our server who subsequently notified a manager. The manager checked in with us and we let him know of the issue and we said we were good with it as it was, we just wanted to let someone know of the error. The manager kindly comped our appetizer without us asking or demanding some sort of recompense, a very pleasant surprise when the bill came.“
