“If you like cheese steak sandwiches or burgers and fresh fries you will love the food here. I found this place by accident and have been 3 times in the past week. I highly recommend, the guys are super friendly and thankful for each and every customer and it shows. The daily lunch specials are great portions and priced very reasonable.“

“Great experience checking out authentic Americana! My son had just been pinned as a US Army Captain at Fort Leonard Wood and we were exploring. We always love finding the local spots and this one didn’t disappoint. We were immediately treated like regulars. Just a great experience, good food, and ice-cold beer. Not sure when I will be back to Springfield, but will definitely grab a bar stool at Pappy’s.“

“Best burnt ends you’ll ever have. It’s a must stop in Springfield, MO and we’ve driven an hour + to make ourselves be in town to eat here when passing anywhere close by. We love the sweet potato fries, fried okra, baked beans, etc, but everything is good.Kid-friendliness: Our kids love eating here. Great seating upstairs to watch traffic & the scrolling sign from Bass Pro Shop.“

“Great BBQ many sauces to try and great selection of food. Smoked food explosion in your mouth . I have been many times now and try to have something differnt every time. I have found in my opinion the best smoked sausage I have ever ate. Not only is there sausage great but ther brisket,chicken,and pulled pork are excellent. I would recommend this place to everyone...“

“I'm from Kansas City and this was my second time stopping here. Really good BBQ. I love their thick sliced brisket sandwich and their Mac n Chz was good too. I only wish I lived closer to try all their offerings.Prices are reasonable, especially for BBQ.“
