We ordered the Dave's Pit Combo loaded with all the meats, ribs, hot link, pulled pork, brisket, ham & turkey. Everything was delicious. The rib meat fell clean from the bone and had the perfect smoked flavor without the prominent rub flavor. All the meats were juicy and flavorful. This is ordered at the counter, and you carry it to your seat. So, no wait service, but you didn't really need it. 1st time here. We ordered the regular beef #4, the Ed that comes with a slice of cheese on top and we ordered a loaded potato ? to try. He asked if we wanted everything on the potato? We just said yes. Best burnt ends you’ll ever have. It’s a must stop in Springfield, MO and we’ve driven an hour + to make ourselves be in town to eat here when passing anywhere close by. We love the sweet potato fries, fried okra, baked beans, etc, but everything is good.Kid-friendliness: Our kids love eating here. Great seating upstairs to watch traffic & the scrolling sign from Bass Pro Shop.
