We went there Monday, and had their special chicken fried chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes and gravy. Super delicious!! The breading was perfectly crispy not crunchy! I easily used my fork to cut it was so crispy! Everything was very delicious! The dessert was really good too! Strawberry cake, a small slice of iced cake with strawberry slices on top. Super yummy!

Darla's Diner is a cozy, welcoming spot with a friendly atmosphere. The owner, Darla, provides exceptional hospitality, making visitors feel like they’re at a friend’s house. The diner offers great food, clean facilities, and reasonable prices. The service is attentive and friendly, and the parking is convenient, with plenty of parking on a vacant, unmarked lot across the street. The menu has a good variety, including Monday dinner specials, and the food is good for the price. Burgers are delicious, with hand-cut fries salted and cooked to perfection. Pies are savory and well-loved. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Customers praise the atmosphere as warm and friendly, with staff going above and beyond, like bringing coloring for children or ensuring a pleasant experience. The food is described as tasting great, not like cheap, mass-produced meals, but as homemade and caring, similar to eating at Grandma’s. The diner is a great place for a low-key breakfast or lunch, offering a small-town, cozy feeling that customers really enjoy. Visitors often plan to return, especially for the pies, and appreciate the quality, quantity, and welcoming environment.
