“This is a great place to get a burger! The food was amazing. When I was told about this place I thought it was a small hole in the wall place and the expectations weren't high. After eating there this place has become our top favorite spot to get a burger even though we will have to drive up from Biloxi it will make the drive worth it! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!“

“I've lived in Mississippi for almost 30 years and always avoided this place. It just seemed too old fashioned. Let me tell you, i feel terrible that I've gone to mcdonalds for breakfast and skipped this place for so long. I got a sausage egg and cheese biscuit. It was a real sausage with real eggs and a biscuit that i would be amazed if they don't have an old grandma chained up in the back making them. So buttery and fluffy i almost crashed trying to eat it while driving. I hope they pay that Grandma well. Even the milkshakes are delicious. I got a root beer float. The last mcdonalds shake i got i threw away it was so nasty. If you're ever driving by and wondering why these old places are still around all you need do is roam through that drive thru for breakfast. This place is a Mississippi gem.“

“I eat here regularly, especially on Tuesday as their Hamburger Steak and gravy is delicious. Today I was too busy at work to sit down and eat. I called in an order and they charged me a 10% gratuity for a to-go order. I honestly believe they should have just went up on the prices a $1 on the daily menu specials then to add gratuity when they advertise a certain price. If not for that they would have a 5 star rating because the food is delicious and the service when dining-in is great.“

It's called the southern Deluxe and I only happened upon it myself when I asked the lady one day I want the biggest burger you have. I assumed it was a double Big One since Wards is famous for having Big Ones! But the lady said that the Southern Deluxe is their biggest burger. That was about 5 years ago and not all stores have it, it wasn't on the drive-thru menu at the store where I got this one, but I just ordered it anyway and it was served to me no questions asked and it was by far the best Southern Deluxe I have ever had.
I wouldn't worry about looking for it on the menu I would just ask for it and they will tell you if they have it or not, if they don't then they should. The southern Deluxe has everything on it that Wards has to offer, the burger alone will run you about $12 but I guarantee you you won't need another one. Try it! While you're still young!“

“We went up to the June Jam with 9 bands ! This is the best venue we've been to in a long time. The hospitality was second to none and Janet the owner is a fantastic lady that showed us a great time ! We will watch this venue and me and my friends will be going back for sure oh the food is awesome too! We will be there for The June Jam in 2026 you can bet if you missed this one you better not miss the next one ! 9 bands on 2 bandstands!!! See y'all net year!“

“If your looking to get some Wards in Mississippi and your around this one, I will warn you this is the best location in the state. Breakfast is absolutely amazing and the lunch is wonderful. I lived in this area for years, moved some time ago, but had to travel through Hattiesburg recently and it hasn't changed a bit in 10 years.“

“I got the big double burger cheeseburger "cookout style" with chili, slaw, mustard, onion, and pickles. I don't think I'll be doing that again, the chili was not that great and it made the burger very rich and overindulgent. The fries were incredible, unironically some of the best I've ever had. The beef quesadilla was fine, nothing special. Next time I will be ordering the burger differently and getting a large Diet Coke.“

“Had breakfast here and received excellent service from Hazel. She was very pleasant and attentive. I ordered the Spinach and Mushroom Omelet with added sausage. It was delicious and it was nicely plated with bits of tomato and cheese shreds for garnish which was nice compared to most places where they just throw the omelet on the plate and that's it. The cook definitely succeeded in producing a delicious meal that was also pleasing to the eye. All in all, an excellent experience!“

“I recently moved to Hattiesburg Ms. If I want a good burger with fries Five Guys is always my go to burger place. Everyone is so nice the employees greet you with a smile. The way the employees are with kids are amazing. When my nephew and niece comes they have them laughing and they're the same way with other kids. When leaving the employees always say Thanks For Coming with a smile. But I wish the owners of Five Guys would think about selling pineapple slices I love pineapples on my burgers. I have recommended everyone I know to come to Hattiesburg Ms to give Five Guys a try. Five Guys is a awesome family oriented place.?“
