And the onion rings were cooked2 perfection & I topped it off with that Strawberry lemonade beverage which was hella great too. I'll definitely stop by again when cruising through the great state of Mississippi and the town of Hattiesburg. And the manager & young black female & male were such great people 2talk2 and get help from 2choose my meal. Yall were the best guys. “I had never seen nor heard of Ward's before and decided to try it on this trip. I was very pleasantly surprised.

The food was tasty, the staff were friendly and helpful and the duning area was clean.

Highlights for me were the fries, they use those lovely thick cut ones that Roy Rodgers used to serve, The pork chop sandwich, and their own root beer.“

“I eat here regularly, especially on Tuesday as their Hamburger Steak and gravy is delicious. Today I was too busy at work to sit down and eat. I called in an order and they charged me a 10% gratuity for a to-go order. I honestly believe they should have just went up on the prices a $1 on the daily menu specials then to add gratuity when they advertise a certain price. If not for that they would have a 5 star rating because the food is delicious and the service when dining-in is great.“

“Hattiesburg is home for me. I moved away in 2003 but i always come back for a visit. It's always good to come home and know that some things never change... for the better. The food was just as good as I remembered it to be. The root beer was impeccable. The service was great and I enjoyed coming home to what I've been missing and not be let down or disappointed.“

“First of all, I highly recommend the Blizzard here. It's incredibly delicious. Since I love chocolate, I ordered the Brownie Batter today, and oh my goodness, it was amazing! It was rich and flavorful, and I absolutely loved it. Even though I only ordered the small size, it was more than enough. The ice cream comes before the main course, so you get to enjoy it right away!

For the main course, I ordered the Backyard Bacon Ranch. The meat was super thick and juicy, and the best part is that the price is very reasonable. I highly recommend dining here. There are plenty of parking spaces and lots of seating, making it a great place for the whole family.

Ordered eggs fried hard, (because I like real eggs and not powdered scrambled eggs), 2 pancakes, 2 pieces of bacon, and hash browns. Quick meal, and fill up for the morning.

Waitress always checked in with us.

“I got the big double burger cheeseburger "cookout style" with chili, slaw, mustard, onion, and pickles. I don't think I'll be doing that again, the chili was not that great and it made the burger very rich and overindulgent. The fries were incredible, unironically some of the best I've ever had. The beef quesadilla was fine, nothing special. Next time I will be ordering the burger differently and getting a large Diet Coke.“
