I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting a Japanese restaurant in a town this small to be so well done. The sushi was great, the tuna tataki was fantastic and the chicken hibachi was very well done. The service was very good. I'm usually pretty hard on restaurants having worked in the industry, and I can't think of any real complaint with here other thsn some of the aesthetics but nothing was bad just not my taste.
Husband took me out yesterday evening for my birthday dinner. We have been there quite frequently. He ordered the spicy tuna roll and the last shrimp platter. The tuna was not fresh, the shrimp platter had a total of 3 shrimp. Both the fries and shrimp were overcooked. Never had disappointing food until now
The food was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly right in front of us. Our chef was super funny and kept us entertained the whole time we were eating. It felt like a really fun night out, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. I loved every bit of it and will definitely be coming back again soon.
