We were in Biloxi for a short anniversary getaway & booked dinner here based on the recommendation of a local. The experience definitely lived up to the hype! The building & history of the restaurant is fascinating, but the food was definitely the star of the show! We started with the shrimp & crabmeat au gratin, which was fantastic. IT IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST SEAFOOD RESTAURANT AROUND! I have NEVER tasted food so delicious. Our favorite on the Menu is QUEEN IXOLIB STUFFED FISH. It is amazing!
In the middle of the 90's, I was a Event Planner, and I brought several groups to this Restaurant. They have a special Dining Room for groups and Bobby Mahoney was a great Host. He entertained them with his grand and hilarious stories.
Food was delicious. I had the Queen Ixolib stuffed fish. Stuffed with crab and shrimp. Covered in a beurre blanc sauce, where the sauce was good, there was a lot of sauce for my liking. Dessert I had rum raisin bread pudding. That was amazing! Not overtly sweet, nice blend of warm spice with hint of rum.
