We've rounded up Biloxi's top Mexican spots for you to try.
“The menu has changed from the last time my wife and I ate there. I was really impressed. I had a dish called Chimachuy and it was excellent. My wife had one of her usuals, the California Burrito, and she was pleased with it also. They have good frozen margaritas and the service was great as always.“
“Read some good reviews on Yelp, had to stop this local jewel, while in town to check out the goodness. We met Larry upon arrival. We had the pleasure of having him take our order. He told us that the restaurant will soon be moving to a new location in March. The food was absolutely outstanding. The carne asada was seasoned well. The rice was fluffy, nachos were delicious. Chips and tortillas were fresh! Good ol comfy restaurant, lots of locals and great hot sauce!“
“Since moving to the area in June of 2023 from the west coast, I've missed having good Mexican food until a coworker brought me to El Potrillo. I got the chili rellenos and burrito combo. It was to die for and hit the spot perfectly. This place is now my Mexican food spot and I can't wait to take my wife here!“
“Kid-friendliness: Pollo Ala plancha con aguacate lechuga jitomate arros y prijoles o amburguesa papas quesadillas de Pollo o carne azada o al pastor con papas agua de Jamaica horchata o agua de pepino con limon o Tamarindo pudes comvinar a tu gusto Para Los niños“
“The service was great! We went on Taco Tuesday and I must say they were delicious. Between two of us we had 6 tacos and a basket of nachos with dip and we were very full. The bill...$6.42. There isn't much ambiance and things look a little old but very clean. It's become our favorite Tuesday Ishtar place“
“Everything was great here! My husband went on Saturday (March 2) evening around 5 pm for my early birthday dinner. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was on point. She took great care of us. The food was amazing! Hot, fresh, and plenty of it. The menu is extensive, so it was a little difficult to choose what to eat. Can't wait to try more of the menu. Family-friendly atmosphere and local business advertisements on the tables. I can, with confidence, definitely recommend this restaurant and will bring the rest of the family next time. 100/10 ?????“
“The food was great! Authentic as you can get in Biloxi. The service took longer than expected but the food kind of makes up for that. The restaurant is half restaurant half convenience store. The entire place has some age on it and could use renovation. Again, the food was pretty good.“
“This is the hands down the best Mexican food I've had while in Biloxi. The atmosphere was great, our server was helpful, the food was quickly prepared, and it tasted amazing. I would recommend checking out the margaritas too, they were made really well (strong too). The decor for the restaurant was really pretty, the space felt really comfortable.Definitely recommend checking this place out.“
“Drive through: Very quick moving and efficient, clear and easy to understand communication. organized/easy to choose menu. employee at window is actually the person who took order and hands you the food( so they at least know if they are giving you the right order). Food: fresh ingredients, lettuce is still crisp not soggy...like taco bell but fresher and less processed. value is pretty good, definitely worth a try if you haven't been before.“
