Stopped in on a trip down from Illinois in November. Purchased three sweet loaf breads (banana nut, pumpkin cheesecake, Amish friendship) and a cream filled donut.
Y’all, I’m from Amish country but I’ve never had bakery items this good. The donut changed my life because it’s not overly sweet, perfectly fried, and filled with unsweetened whipped cream. Ah-mazing!

Ole Country Bakery is a hidden gem. Their delicious apple fritters, donut holes, and fresh loaves of bread are a must-try. The friendly staff always wear a smile and are ready to help. This place is a cute and quaint as it comes! The dessert they have is fresh, and amazing quality. They have biscuits and gravy that is very delicious, costing less than $10 for 2. The blackberry pie was absolutely delicious. The Italian bread was awesome. With incredible food, wonderful staff, and fair prices, this roadside treasure is a must-visit destination.
