“We stopped in to check them out for the first time. Saw the place on Google Maps. Fellow didn't hear us come in, so I rang the bell on the counter, and he came right out. Super nice, and pleasant to speak with.

We ordered 5 whole wings, a cheeseburger, fried tomatoes, fried okra, and 2 sodas. The soda machine is quite old, and mostly inoperative. The Dr. Pepper came out like a fire hose, and the other soda didn't have any soda flavor.....just carbonated water. The other options were in unlabeled containers with some kind of red juice, yellow juice, and what I assume was tea (sweet? Unsweet? who knows?). The containers were dirty, so half-flavored soda it was.

When the food came out, however, we were extremely pleased. Everything was too hot to eat, it was that fresh! Once it cooled enough to eat, we scarfed it back like we hadn't eaten in a week. VERY happy with the food.

Hate to see that it is so hit-and-miss though. My expectations are high now that we've had a good initial experience.
