“I am 68, and ribs have been one of my favorite foods all of my adult life. I rarely write reviews online, but I am compelled to recommend Down South BBQ & Burgers. Their ribs are the best I have ever had: almost (almost is the key) fall-off-the-bone tender and seasoned perfectly. Try them dry first, but they have a selection of delicious sauces, too. Down South also has delicious chicken, brisket, and wings in addition to burgers and a wide selection of side dishes. The folks are friendly and well organized and offer a simple, immaculately clean dining area if you want to dine in. If you haven't tried Down South, I encourage you to do so!“

“I absolutely love places like this. The food was great, the ladies were great to chat with, it's not some chain that doesn't care if you ever come back. I only get through here occasionally and this was my first time here but by far it won't be my last.“

“These burgers remind me of the old school Wendy's hamburgers that are very juicy, flavorable, and definitely worth it. Service, even with the tip, was meh. It was evening and there were only 2 cars, and it took a good 5 min, which is fine. Like I said, it was great!“

“The managers here have to become Team players to support the crew when it's crowded, rush hour and in crunch time....Never should a manager tell a crew member; that they cannot do a job, I dont do that, or it's not my job. I from old school where managers knew all aspects of the operations and had to hold the line to make things happen effectively and assist with the mission of delivering a great service. Some retraining and personal development tactics need to be installed here.... But at the end of ya gruesome wait....it's Wendy's food and taste that helps you to compromise....“

“This is our go-to place on the motorcycle! But today was not a very good experience. The staff was not prepared to serve everyone in a timely fashion. Several groups waited more than 30 minutes with no service at all and they got up and left. The food portions are smaller and the price is higher, but that’s just a sign of the times, I guess. Our waitress was precious, but to the management PICK UP THE PACE! It’s getting warmer and y’all know it’s fixing to get busier. Hire more wait staff and cooks. Don’t make your long-time patrons just sit around and wait.“
