Slim's Soda & Sandwich Shop Of McNeill is a local favorite with wonderful people running the place. The owners are caring and giving, doing a lot for the community. The employees are polite and helpful, and the food is always good, much better than Subway. The panini pressed sandwich is a must-try and the bread is fantastic. While the atmosphere could use a little music, the quiet setting adds to the charm. Don't leave without trying something sweet, as it's hard to resist. Give this little gem a try if you're passing through Picayune.
