We found this place on yelp after moving nearby. The staff is prompt and attentive. I had the fried trio which was delicious. My wife isn't so much a seafood person but there are also a lot of other options available to her. We'll definitely come back soon.
What a great find, just slightly off the beaten path. Totally worth the few minutes diversion from I-20. Our sweet waitress answered all our questions and was very personable. The hush puppies were amazing, both the jalapeño and plain. Not overdone but light and fluffy. The blackened shrimp was delicious, as were the Cajun potatoes and fried okra. The food & atmosphere was awesome . To be honest the only thing I knew about German food was from watching Hogan's Heroes. I got the sampler platter! So good! My wife got one of the pork chop platters . So good also!
