Barbeque Restaurants in Clarksdale

Zee’s Barbeque Barbeque • $
365 Issaquena Ave, Clarksdale

“I have been wanting to try this restaurant for months and finally had the chance to on a Thursday!Customer Service: Excellent, everyone was nice and attentive to all the customers. Was recommended on what to order because they were out of loaded turkey legs. The event they catered had called and asked for the rest of the turkey legs. I will be back to try the loaded turkey leg. ???Now, let’s get to my food! I had the loaded chicken fries!! The mixture of queso cheese, barbecue, and jalapeño was extremely different and delicious. ?? I am embarrassed to say “I ate my food so fast.” The koolaid was good also.A must try if you are in the Mississippi Delta. They are open Thursday-Saturday.“

“The food was not as good as it had been in the past! My wife's chili cheese burger was just ok, the tamales fell apart and didn't have the same flavor as past and my BBQ was not that good, the meat was soggy and didn't have much flavor. We had a party of 12 and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. The staff was amazing and the food was spot on!“

“This is the place for BBQ in Clarksdale!! On my visit there I wanted some good BBQ and went to a famous long term BBQ place first, it was a letdown. I asked a local person a the Dollar General and they pointed me here and I am glad they did!Swung by to try some of their ribs. Only needed that since I had already eaten lunch but my BBQ fix wasn’t satisfied. I asked to order just 2 spare ribs and told them lady why. After a 5 minute or so wait they brought me 2 ribs and didn’t charge me. I gave them $5 anyway because they have to make money.Went to my car and tried the ribs. Hell yeah. Warm, Good smoke, nice tender pull on the meat and the sauce was on point!!! I ate both ribs and was so happy. It is take out only, they don’t take credit cards but you can do cash app. Get some BBQ at Chucky’s. You won’t be disappointed.“

Pete´s Grill Bar & Grill • $
550 Sunflower Ave, Clarksdale

“I now live in Dallas and I frequent Wingstop and Pluckers, but driving 7.5hrs to Pete's Grill is worth it for their 5 star winning wings. I know this may not be feasible for everyone, but if you are visiting Clarksdale, MS and looking for something great to eat make sure you stop by Pete's Grill; they have the best wing I have ever tasted.“

“The tamales were sooo good, some of the best I ever had. So if you are looking for a good hole in the wall for tamales you found the place. That's all we got because they don't serve the whole menu during the week. The guy at the window was super friendly! The way you get into the place is a little confusing that's my only complaint but it's totally worth the hassle I'm telling you. I will be going here again. If they would have been open when we finished them we would have went back for another dozenn!Parking: Location is a bit off and the drive through is difficult to navigate your first time but once you go once you know what to do and it's worth it“

Crossroads Liquor & Wine Barbeque •
900 Desoto Ave, Clarksdale

“I have eaten here several times in the past. The rib tips and tamales were the best ever!!! But Business was so good for Larry that he closed up shop and reopened on Getwell in Memphis, hoping to make a lot more money (word of his fantastic word had spread to nearby Memphis and he correctly figured that his food would be popular with a bigger market). After just a few months, he closed his Memphis location. I know all of the above to be true. The word was and still is that Larry's food was so popular that he had too much business and had to work so hard and so many hours that he just quit. Although unconfirmed, this most probably the truth. As far as I know, Larry has not returned his business to Clarksdale and has no plans to do so.“
