It took 1 hr for an online order (1 salad & 1 combo plate). Poor Management!! Too many workers walking around, talking (even playing outside the kitchen) and apparently not enough help in the kitchen..I wasn’t the only one waiting this long either. There were only 2 tables that had ppl eating in, so it wasn’t like they were overwhelmed. Another person said, “it doesn’t matter how long I give my online order to get ready, when I show up…the order is never ready!”...read full review
Paid extra for dry rub ribs and they were about the size of my pinky, and one was mostly gristle. The sliced pork was so dry it could be a pork coaster, and the pulled pork was edible after 2 packets of sauce.
My husband and I love Sonny’s BBQ dating all the way back to the original one in Alachua,Florida and make it a point to stop whenever we pass through Clinton since we live in North Louisiana. But Saturday may have been our last time to stop. We both ordered side salads one with no tomatoes and one with no onions so they had to make them fresh.
