This was our 1st Osaka experience & we were blown away. The food is absolutely delicious & the service is top notch. I told my husband we should’ve had our wedding dinner HERE instead of at the hibachi place in Gulfport. Way better experience. We look fwd to coming back, as this is our new hibachi home.

I love Osaka Japanese Hibachi. This is the best Hibachi restaurant in the area and it isn't even close. I have a shellfish allergy, and they always take great care when I inform them. They cook my food first before any shellfish is put on the Hibachi grill. I thought this would be normal practice at all restaurant's of this type but sadly in my personal experience other Hibachi grills don't do this. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Hibachi cuisine. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

checked if there was a booth when we first walked in and one of the ladies aggressively pointed to our table after we did not hear anyone say if there was one available the first time. sushi was good - fresh, not fishy but the salmon was not as cool (temp.) as it should've been. got the pink lady roll and it was very good except it is way too much sauce and it gets overpowering. the ginger is terrible, pickled to the point it tastes like soap. not the worst sushi place on the coast but definitely not a first choice.

Everyone had a great time at our friend's birthday dinner.
Service was amazing! Hibachi chef was entertaining. Food was delicious. 🤌 Best chicken fried rice I've had in literally decades.
While ordering I informed the server that I'm allergic to shellfish and she immediately responded that my meal would be made in the kitchen away from shellfish. That's what you like to hear when you tell someone in a restaurant that you're allergic to a food item. I want to dine on their delicious food, but I don't want to die for it. Lol
Thanks for being considerate of my allergies and making my friend's birthday dinner even more amazing! 💜

Went there with hubby. He was craving habatchi. So we went we're sat at a table ordered sushi then put in order for hibatchi. I got octopus and scallop sashimi. The scallops smelt fishy the octopus was very very tough. The hibatchi show started chef was very good. Except he over cooked everything!! I ordered my filet rare, my shrimp were shoe leather cooked scallops and lobster was all tough and not seasoned. We didn't worry about complaining they were trying to close. Waiter said call in the morning. So..Later that night hubby and I started throwing up horribly. I called the restaurant in the morning like I was instructed and told them what was wrong. I requested a full refund. They only offered to pay my hospital bills. Lol I'm not going to the hospital and waste time and money. I just wanted my money back from a horrible dinner. Never going here again!! If they want to fix this please contact me.

BEST sushi on the Gulf Coast. Had it again tonight to celebrate hubby's birthday. We hadn't had their sushi in a while (since they no longer participate in delivery). We tried half dozen other places and none has the fresh fish (generous slices) excellent hibachi & kitchen offerings. We'll be back (even if I have to drive there to pickup our takeout!) ❣️❣️

I dined in at Osaka for the first time today and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.

The service was terrible from the start — our waiter didn’t introduce himself or make any effort to be polite. We had barely started sitting down when he abruptly asked, “What do you want to drink?” without any greeting.

When I tried to order a kids hibachi (since I wasn’t very hungry), he cut me off rudely and said it was “for 10 and under” in a very dismissive tone. I had to order the full dinner hibachi, which cost $22 — way more than I wanted to spend.

The entire experience felt rushed and unwelcoming. I won’t be coming back.
