“Our first dining experience ay Simmer On Down was this passed Saturday. We had fried shrimp and steak. Both dishes were delicious and the steak was cooked perfectly! The salad bar was fresh with many choices! It's definitely worth the drive to Pine Grove/Dumas to eat there! We will be back!”

“Edit 10-19-2024 Stopped by today for fresh produce and a few household items. Once again they were very friendly and helpful. Purchased 5 brand name items spent $14 total. My only regret is not getting some cake... The most authentic and delicious food we have ever had. At really reasonable prices. This small business is a hidden gem. The new owners have really gone above and beyond to deliver an amazing menu. My husband and I enjoy their food at least twice a week. We promise that you will not regret this truly authentic experience.”

“At times there are too many flies in there, and the bathroom could
be cleaned more often because, they only have one. Food is always good and they are kind, but at times, they are snappy at you, but the food on the menu is too high with new prices. The food is good, but everything should be priced $2-$3 less on the menu for the amt you get. Really, the best value for a buffet if that is your flavor! Really good food! 😋”

“Food is great when they do it correctly. And so is service whenever the right people are working. There’s a lovely hispanic young man who is always almost in the drive thru, well mannered, attentive and friendly. He always makes sure to get my order right, asks me how I am that day, and proceeds to do his job. Very professional. However, the rest seem to always be on edge or tired. Maybe they need better hours. I’d love to come up to the KFC/Taco Bell and to be greeted with friendly faces and positive attitudes. And I’m sure everyone is trying their best, they just need a little encouragement. 😊”
