Restaurant Review: Blow Fly In -- or rather, Fly Blow By... because you should keep driving.
Our visit was an absolute disappointment from start to finish. I ordered the red beans and rice, which arrived lukewarm at best. We sent them back and didn't eat them--yet they still appeared on the bill.
The shrimp and grits didn't fare much better. The dish was so dry it desperately needed a sauce just to make it edible. And I'm still confused about the teriyaki Brussels...read full review
We have always had good service but the last time we went, 3 days ago, we were seated and finally got up and left after waiting for over 15 minutes. The hostess sat us down, provided menus and we waited. The waitress helped the tables on each side of us but not so much as an acknowledgement. Sad but with service like that we won’t be back.
We had an incredible lunch today! Everything was delicious, and the Blow Fly’s tuna dip and crackers are hands down the best on the coast. Our server, Stephanie, was fantastic, and Veronica's warm personality made the experience even better. Both them are wonderful assets to this restaurant. We’ll definitely be making this one of our favorites.
