This is the 3rd nightmare experience I've had at this location. Every other Google reviewer that gave a one star experiece got a response from their review at this McDonald's, not sure why I'm any different. The associate I dealt with tonight is clearly bitter she is a grown adult working at McDonald's at 11 p.m. I can't help she hates her job but management could surely show up and make a difference. The police officers dining here even apologized. This place is an absolute nightmare. I am so sick of being asked to pull forward when I order one happy meal just to make their drive thru time quota. I am asked to pull all the way back around and park in the parking lot and wait....and there was only one other person in the drive thru at the time I went through. I've tried walking in several times and that's even more of a disaster. Please read my reviews on other places...I am not just mad and decided to give a review because of one negative experience. It's every time I come here. I've sat and watched multiple other cars come and go from the drive thru from my car in the parking lot. I literally ordered a happy meal and a 4 count nugget. Please see attached receipt. It's been 15 minutes and I'm still sitting in my car. Whoever is running this nightmare operation needs help.

Terrible customer service – completely avoidable

Stopped at the McDonald’s inside the Love’s Truck Stop and had one of the most frustrating fast-food experiences I’ve had in a while.

There were multiple employees working, but instead of paying attention to customers, they were standing around talking and horse-playing. This location uses kiosks to order, but the kiosk I used had no paper, so I didn’t get a receipt. That’s a problem when you’re required to show an order number to receive your food. Plenty of time to joke around, apparently not enough time to check basic equipment.

I specifically ordered a large fry with NO salt. They gave me fries loaded with extra salt. I sent them back and explained again. They then handed me a small fry with no salt. I had to go back again to correct the order and finally got the large fry I originally asked for.

By the time all of this was fixed, my sandwich was cold. At that point, I was tired, frustrated, and hungry, so I just ate it and left.

This wasn’t a busy rush issue — it was poor attention, poor communication, and zero care for customers. Do better.

So i grabbed a couple chicken wraps from here and stood back and watched..... first to keep the times down they complete the order before it's even made... falsification of their numbers... watched one of the managers grab 2 apple pies, looked at the sell by sticker, and removed them then stuck the pies in a bag for a customer... then go over and take the 3 remaining pies from the warmer and throw them away... serving expired product. The lobby was messy and unkempt, and management on duty just didn't care. I hope someone from corporate sees this and takes immediate action.
