Just driving through and needing to find a good quick place to eat when we came across this gem. Ordered the shrimp po boy with drinks and a small pecan pie, and can hands down say the seasoning and way everything was toasted and cooked was mouth watering delicious! Had a nice conversation with the gentleman behind the counter who explained some history on gumbo and let us try a sample. Would recommend both the gumbo and the po boy! A $14.50 poboy and it's like this?? Where's the rest of it? Barely any meat and the size wasn't on the menu. After a drink and tax $19.25 to walk away with a poboy that has less meat on it than an average burger?? A bit pricey for what it is but the food was tasty. A had the blackened shrimp po-boy and Cajun fries. My wife had the chicken thigh plate with the potato salad. My blackened shrimp were delicious.
