Impeccable service from the waitstaff, extremely professional and courteous, also very knowledgeable of their menu and offered excellent pairing suggestions. My only complaint was my fillet not being cooked to my request on the first try, however, the manager Jewel insisted that they fix it immediately. Will dine here again on special occasions!

this place is consistently phenomenal. It has become our special event place due to the exceptional food and service we receive every time we visit.. even if it isn't a special occasion- they make every visit feel like one. My favorite thing is the parmesean crusted salmon, which is perfect every time, but the ribeye can't be beat either. Our favorite bartender is Spencer, who takes meticulous care with every drink he crafts- the Lavendiablo is superb ..desserts, like cocktails are curated with love and attention.. you cannot go wrong with any- i recommend getting them all! A visit to Buschman's is second to none and Hattiesburg should feel very fortunate to have it.

What a lovely find. We were warmly greeted upon arrival. Enjoyed our meals and our server (he was such a charming young man). Will stop in when we pass through next time.

Worst fine dining experience of my life. Medium rare meat came out medium well, creme brule was so undercooked there were piles of liquid. Everything was underseasoned and on top of that not one person ever took our drink order in 2+ hours. Had to walk to the bar multiple times where they said a server would come by and eventually the bartender had to come give us the drinks we asked for 30 minutes later.

Though I grew up in Mississippi, I have not lived in the state in over 30 years. However, I found myself looking for a new and exciting dining experience for my son on his birthday. We chose Buschman Street Cafe based on reviews. We couldn't have been more pleased! Most of my party had the lamb chops, which were excellent, but every dish and drink were superb as well. The decor/atmosphere rivals any upscale restaurant you might find. We will visit again during our next teip.

We had the best experience at Buschman Street Cafe! The service was superb, the best I’ve seen outside of bigger cities like New Orleans. Staff was super thoughtful. Food was excellent, we had a hard time picking a favorite dish but the redfish curry and short ribs were top contenders. And it was a very romantic setting, I think perfect for a date night or celebration. Will definitely be back!

Awesome and premium dinning experience!!! Meal and ambience exceeded expectations. Red fish with curry and salmon most pleasing to the palate. The owner took time to sit and speak for a moment!!!

Absolutely amazing in every way! Our waiter, Tanner was very attentive and helpful. Between the cozy aesthetic and the wonderful food, I can’t decide what I liked the best. We will be back for the lamb ravioli. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection.

Buschman Street Cafe' - Recently... We had the opportunity to celebrate a dear friends Birthday. Entering the dinning room felt like warm welcoming smiles of southern hospitality. We enjoyed selections from the carefully curated menus. I must say as a native of Washington, DC... The Crab cakes & shrimp risotto were definitely a highlight of the evening. Thank you Chef Terrace & wonderful staff for an enchanting experience. You'll be seeing us again soon. Bravo 👏

It took a long time to get seated and for dinner to come out. But the food was pretty good. It's the nicest place within 50 miles. It was slightly more expensive then I expected but not too expensive to break the bank, unless you eat a lot (appetizers, entree, dessert, and drinks).

The Sunday brunch is fabulous. The crabcake Benedict is out of control. The dinner crabcakes are also out of control. Brunch outdoors on the porch is really refreshing. They have live music, which is typically Acoustic and it’s phenomenal.

Don’t let the name fool you—this isn’t a café, it’s a full-blown fine dining gem. I’ve been three times and left happy every single visit. Worth every penny.

The steak? One of the best-seasoned I’ve ever had—perfect crust, tender inside, finished with a pat of melting butter that seals the deal. The signature rolls with honey butterare non-negotiable; warm, hard on the outside, fluffy on the inside—dangerously addictive.

Atmosphere is sleek and inviting—no complaints. Clean lines, soft lighting, pure elegance.

Service is remarkable—attentive, warm, and genuinely proud of the food. The owner is a class act; he stops by each table with a smile and a quick hello. Had the bartender whip up a custom sweet & tropical cocktail—if you go, show them this photo of the recipe (trust me).

Yes, it’s a little pricey. But for the quality, consistency, and experience? Absolutely worth it. No regrets—only return visits.
